Love the razor, for all it's functionality and ease of use, I have had mine since 2021, but as others have noted, the plastics failed. In my case the skin guard failed as in being able to keep it on the body of the razor it self. Everything else still works perfectly, so much so i ordered another one and will keep the original with out the skin guard for close up shaving..

But $100 for beard trimmer is a lot, so the value here is debatable. I went with the more expensive SB version. But it nails my requirements, with being water resistant, adjustable, good quality, and with a plastic guard that isn't so long, it makes it tough to trim around your nose. Some of the other trimmers out there are probably a better value? But I've tried a few and this is my favorite. Only downsides, is that it's a little larger than some of the competitors out there, and a little noisier. But it seems to cut better.

First things first. The trimmer is awesome. It’s smooth and comfortable. Incredibly easy to use and simple to maintain. It has acceptable battery life. It really is an awesome product for the price. I’ve always been a big fan of other Panasonic electronics and they delivered again here. The trimmer’s functionality is outstanding. Unfortunately, the package is held back by one (YMMV) flaw. The charger. It’s a heavyish base station design but with no cord. It just plugs directly into the wall and the trimmer sits vertically above it when plugged in. It’s awkward to say the least. I have to charge it in my bedroom because that’s literally the only outlet in my house capable of the task. Despite the charger I really do like the trimmer. The value and functionality more than make up for the wonky charger. I would recommend this trimmer for sure provided you have a capable outlet to charge it.

I don't understand the sizeing of these blades. A number 2 on this is ALOT shorter then a number 2 with a normal hair trimmer! But I must say, I really love my blades, they are perfect blades to work on a nice fade!

I like the trimmer and replaced the one that broke after two years with another for two reasons: I like the built in adjustable guard and it holds a charge well enough to put it in my bag for a week long trip. It is also water resistant and that is nice. On the downside: it only lasts a couple years before the internal plastics fail - not the battery, not the motor, not the blade, the white plastic crap that holds them all together. A total waste as it seemed like it would go the distance. If this one lasts more than two years I'll be back to let y ou know - if not, I'll just move on. Someone needs to step up and add an adjustable guard to a rechargeable beard trimmer at this price point.

I purchased this beard trimmer for when I travel, I absolutely love it. I really like that I can set the length of the trimmer, the attachment locks in and is easy to remove for cleaning. You can use it whether if you’re beard is wet or dry and you can use it on your chest and shoulders.

It works quite well there’s nothing to fault it in terms of its function. It keeps my beard at exactly the length I want and sometimes I use it on my head hair as well between haircuts. The battery takes a long time to charge and doesn’t last very long, but that’s OK as long as you stay on top of it. It uses a proprietary connection for the battery charger so you can’t use any random USB-C or something like that. I had an older model with a nonreplaceable ni-cad battery that went bad. I externalized the power, wires and screwed AA battery holder on the outside of the case and connected the wires to that. That trimmer is about 15 years old and still works with my modification but I just wanted this new one. Overall, I’m glad I bought it.

Put this trimmer to replace my old trimmer that died recently. This Panasonic trimmer is highly adjustable and relatively easy to clean with the titanium blades. Would be perfect if it was washable.

Item.shipped with us charger with 110v. No warning and when about to return, amazon says outside of return window. What happens to consumer right for faulty item ?

I have yet to actually try the product, and I will edit this later on to provide my opinion on it, but sadly I didn’t read it was coming from Amazon USA when I ordered it on Amazon.com.au haha.. so just a heads up if you are ordering from Australia, you will need a converter from USA to AUS. I’ve heard great things about this shaver so i will update on how it performs!
