GREAT BOOK IF YOU WANT TO LEARN THE BASICS TO ALSO THE TECHNICAL STUFF. A GOOD READ AND A MUST HAVE IF YOU ARE IN THE BUSINESS OR WANT TO JOIN IN ON THE FUN.

Very clearly defines the terms and explains the concepts for integrating building automation systems. When I finished the book, while I would still need plenty of hands-on experience and practice to become proficient, I at least had a working knowledge and could ask the right questions. One of the top two best books available on this subject.

This text was required for a controls class toward my school certification. Very thorough. Thanks.

This was ok for a quick read, but it is not at the implementation level. Also if you are hoping for open as in free protocols, this is a bit misleading because most of the time they are dealing with commercial vendors or maybe part of the protocol is from one place and part from another.
