Incredibly capable Mini-PC for AI, Productivity, some gaming too.
I really enjoyed most of my experience with this beast of a Mini PC. I have a few criticisms and difficulties I encountered, and I will list them and explain my thoughts. I purchased the EVO-T1 with 64GB of RAM and 1TB NVME storage. Most of the chassis is plastic, there is a metallic 'sheath' (the rose-gold portion). There are plenty of USB ports available, four on the front panel (including one USB-C) and three more on the back (including one USB-C). There is an HDMI, DisplayPort output as well as an Oculink port (more on this later!). The first thing I do with any new PC is install a fresh copy of Windows (Windows 11 24H2 in this case). I immediately ran into trouble because I could not access the driver files provided on GMKtec's website - I reached out to support and they provided me a new link, which worked right away. I did not lower my review score for this, as it was addressed and is a one-time hiccup. After a very speedy Windows installation, I proceeded to download some benchmark applications. I did connect to Wi-Fi, where I have a Wi-Fi 7 setup in my home I could only connect using Wi-Fi 6 standards. Not a big deal, but maybe the newest devices should come out of the gate supporting the newest standards? What I experienced stressing the CPU is that it is incredibly fast for a device of this size. The fans do start spinning once it's well under load, and while audible it is not very loud. I had no trouble using this while the PC was just under my monitor. I have included a collage of screen captures from my benchmark apps, note that the UserBenchmark image is with my 3080 attached, as it 'could not find' the integrated GPU. I next tested the AI capabilities - my first time using a device with an AI Coprocessor. This was really neat, and my unit had plenty of RAM (64GB) to handle even the larger LLM models. I will be using this and playing with different LLMs going forward, very neat stuff. My biggest difficulties encountered were in attaching my 3080 via external GPU dock. I have a Minisforum DEG1 eGPU Dock and an MSI Ventus 3080. I first tried to use my Intel Arc A750 with the external dock, but had an impossible time installing drivers, as the Intel installer keeps seeing the iGPU and simply would not let both of them be active at the same time. Rather than disable the iGPU, I decided to try my NVIDIA card instead. When I could keep it connected and running reliably, it worked very well. I was able to play some games (I included a short snippet of No Man’s Sky) - and it worked well with my HDR high refresh rate display - it was very impressive. However, I spent many hours troubleshooting and applying/removing various drivers as the external GPU seemed to stop responding in many scenarios. I was trying to perform some video editing, and it worked for a moment or two before totally freezing. I could then sometimes plug into the iGPU and get into the computer, but this was more of a troubleshooting step and not a fix. As it stands right now, I installed the latest NVIDIA drivers and when the eGPU is attached, Windows will boot and freeze immediately. I will weigh whether or not I need the eGPU and I may try another dock. I will update this review if/when I do. Overall, I am very impressed with this device and plan on using it for some gaming, local AI, and maybe even offloading some of my older server applications onto it.

The GMK K10 is an excellent, peppy machine.
WOW! My new GMK Core i9-13900HK (NucBox_K10) has put a smile on my face. It's replacing an outdated Win 7 machine for our everyday use: research, email, entertainment, surfing, and some gaming. It came preloaded with Windows 11 Pro, which includes New Outlook. For sure, I was immediately very impressed with the K10's performance. Specifics: Device name NucBox_K10 Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900HK 2.60 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 24H2 Installed on 5/1/2025 OS build 26100.4202 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.107.0 First, I updated the OS using Windows Update. The update took perhaps 2 hrs (typical given other users' comments re: Win11 updates). Next order of business was to install my security software and run a full scan: pleasantly, no issues. Bios access was simple using the esc key, though I had no reason to change anything. The machine runs extremely quiet and was very fast at all the tasks I performed. I'm currently using WiFi and the GMK K10 is equally distant from my router and an Access Point in the lower level. I tested performance on 4 local networks I had defined: Router(2.4 and 5.0) and AP(2.4 and 5.0). No matter the network, the GMK K10 was impressively snappy. The wi-fi antennas are clearly a plus. Web pages appear in a flash, and every task I perform delivers at turbo-speed. I ran multiple applications simultaneously with numerous tabs open and everything ran flawlessly. I plan to add a second SSD and the easy access panel on the underside should make things easier. Additionally, the Kensington Lock capability provides for a layer of physical security if that's an issue. On the flip side, the power button could use better illumination. Depending on ambient lighting, it can be difficult to tell if the machine is on or off (a tribute to how quiet it is). When I ran the OS update the screen went blank multiple times and, judging from the power button, I didn't know if the K10 was asleep, in the middle of a reboot, shutdown, or even if the update was complete. In sum, the GMK K10 is a great machine. Big shout out to GMKTec, I'm impressed. If you're looking for a low cost, up-to-date upgrade to replace your present pc, you should consider the new GMK NucBox_K10.

Fast, cool and quiet. Im not a gamer and I also didn’t use the pre installed windows. I use NixOS and it’s was a breeze to get it going. Compile times are day and night difference as compared to my older 8th gen i7. The disk drive is fast enough but can be improved with a later purchase.

This little machine is perfect for a home office. It was effortless to setup, and very easy to connect to a tv through HDMI or a screen with display port. It runs all applications, even light games. It does struggle with heavier games. I had to contact tech support for an issue downloading the image for the machine from their site, they where both extremely responsive and helpful - I now have both the Image and drivers for my M3 Plus.

I was a little sceptical about this...although it was recommended by an IPTV blogger who uses it for his videos...I figured that was robust enough for an old guy who just surfs the web and does emails. What a fantastic deal!! I rave about it to anyone who comes into our place. It's tiny, but has great specs...ours has an i5 and 16gb of RAM and a 512 SSD. Plenty for my needs. Win11Pro. It works just as well as any HP or Dell we have or have had. And at a fraction of the size or PRICE. I looked at Dell, and anything they had like this was 2x and more $$. Seems very well built; enough ports for any everyday use. Would definitely buy again. EDIT Yikes! I just looked up the current listing. The price has more than doubled since the first of the year!

The GMKtec Mini PC with Intel Core i7 12700H is a powerful compact desktop that delivers excellent performance for the work environment. The 14-core, 20-thread CPU, handles everything we need with ease. 32GB DDR4 RAM keeps everything running smoothly and the 1TB SSD provides lots of fast storage for files, applications, and multimedia. The Iris XE Graphics offers decent graphics performance and supports up to 3 (4K) monitors. This Mini PC has WiFi 6 and BT5.2, which allows for good connectivity. There are lots of ports, including HDMI, USB 3.0 and USB-C for data transfer / display. Setup was extremely easy (once the display was plugged in to the LEFT side HDMI port.) Updating Windows was a lengthy process, but carried on in the background, so it was not a problem. This Mini PC is being used as a general-purpose office machine and seems very well suited for this.
