Best makeup remover balm
Clean it Zero has been my go to makeup remover for years. I have lost count of how many I have purchased. I wear makeup everyday and sometimes pretty heavy. Cleans it all off, and leaves no greasy residue

Gentle and effective
I’m on board with the basic premise of oil cleansers but this is my first time trying a balm to oil formula. This is a pretty hefty tub coming in at a hair over 6 ounces. I had a little bit of sticker shock at the price but considering how much product you get, I think it’s a decent value for a mid range cleanser. You don’t need a large amount so I expect this to last a long time considering I haven’t made a significant dent after a few weeks. There are definitely a lot of options in the higher and lower price bands but I’d prefer to buy a midrange reputable kbeauty brand over the cheaper options I’m currently aware of. I saw this was described as “balm to oil” but I wasn’t quite expecting something that reminded me of a giant tube of chapstick. They include a spatula between the inner and outer lids because you will need it to effectively (and more sanitarily) dispense the product since it’s a stiff solid. I’m actually looking into buying the mini sizes for travel since this solid format means I don’t have to worry about it leaking in my toiletry bag. It also frees up another slot in my quart bag of liquids when I travel with a carryon. The solid balm melts into an oil beautifully when applied. I was a bit concerned about rubbing it on my face but the oil is very smooth and emulsifies easily, especially with the introduction of water. I didn’t notice any irritation dryness with use while still being effective at breaking down and removing makeup. I can be pretty aggressive with two layers of setting/finishing powder plus setting spray when I intend to be out all day so getting everything back off can be a challenge. It didn’t get absolutely everything by itself but one of the most effective I’ve tried and there’s no cleanser I know of that gets it all by itself. It didn’t notice much a scent which is a faint positive to neutral for me. I have no real need for a product to be scented but I also don’t mind if they are as long as it’s not overpowering. My skin did feel softer after use and it seems to be keeping my pores somewhat tamed though that’s an unending battle. This rinses off a lot easier than I expected, making it one of my favorites for cleansers.

Absolutely became one of my favorite cleansers.
I've been using the Banila Cleanser every day to remove makeup, and it has quickly become a favorite in my skincare routine. It works so efficiently and removes makeup in no time, leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean without any greasy residue. I love how it doesn't strip my skin or leave any uncomfortable feeling behind, just soft and smooth. The texture is also really nice; it starts out as a balm and then melts into an oil cleanser and I've used it both with just my hands, cloths, and makeup remover sponges. All worked great. I have since swapped to using Banila's Clean It Zero in their normal, non-holiday editions too!

My favorite cleansing balm
I have the original one and I am almost out, so another purchase was inevitable. I love the holiday packaging and I actually prefer it over their standard packaging. Other than the packaging, it is the same original formulation. I love using this cleansing balm because of how well it removes make up. With this product. I also do not need to worry about cotton pads or wipes. In other words, it feels less wasteful. It cleanses very well and leaves my skin feeling so soft. With other products, my skin feels very dry and tight, but this actually improves the look and feel of my skin after use. There are no added colors in the product either, so you are not exposed to additional unnecessary chemicals. The jar is very large and sometimes hard to store, but it is also very cute and the materials used are very durable. One jar takes a while to go through, since I no longer wear makeup as often as I used to, so the value is incredible since one jar lasts me a little over a year.

Lovely balm cleanser in pretty Holiday packaging
This is a lovely cleanser that left my skin feeling soft and clean without any tightness. I love the texture and that it comes with a spatula to help keep it sanitary; no sticking my grimy fingies into the pot to clean my face up! It's described as a "sherbert" texture on the packaging, and that tracks with similarly-described Korean products I've tried. It's a little softer than a typical balm, but it also gets smoother and creamier as it makes contact with your skin and begins to melt. This is a great way to start a double cleanse, wherein you use an oil-based cleanser first, such as this balm, followed by a standard water-based cream or gel cleanser. From what I understand, oil-based cleansers are good for binding to other oils and impurities that are in your pores and double cleansing will get your skin much fresher than using an oil-based cleanser alone. I love the Holiday Edition packaging, as well-- I couldn't tell from the product photos, but there's some subtle silver glitter embedded in the cap in addition to the extra sparkly logo on the front. I have never tried the Clean it Zero Original Cleansing Balm from Banila prior to being offered this version, but I have heard great things about it. The pot is a decent size and should last quite a while, which I appreciate because some of my other preferred cleansing balms come in much smaller pots and just won't last nearly as long. At under $30, I think it's a good value for a high-quality Korean skincare product from a reputable brand, and with the Holiday Edition packaging it makes an extra cute gift for someone who is already a fan or who is interested in trying it for the first time! According to INCIDecoder, this doesn't have any Superstar or Goodie ingredients, but it does contain fragrance, so if you are sensitive to that you may want to skip this one. Although I normally double cleanse, I used this on its own last night followed by the White and Black Rice exfoliant ampoules from mixsoon and my skin felt extraordinarily soft and smooth afterwards. Even if there's no stand out ingredients, I think this is a favorite of a lot of people for a reason, but I am knocking a star because of added fragrance and lack of highly desirable ingredient, but I personally do think it seems very effective despite that.
