Great back-up service from Moman
The battery itself performed well on first use but I later discovered a fault that prevented it from recharging. After contacting Moman, I was impressed with their efficient customer service. They resolved the issue and agreed to send out a replacement, making the overall experience a positive one.

Great bang for the buck!
For the record, this is my 2nd Moman V-mount battery (I have one other that is a slightly different model). The reason I picked up this one when I saw it, is my first Moman battery is rock solid. One of the hallmarks of something that uses poor quality cells is they will tend to self-discharge after a while, and if you let them go too far they will be useless and un-rechargeable. When I got this, I had to dig out my V-mount dual battery charger and figured while I was at it, I'd top off my other Moman V-mount. Why not, right? After sitting for...it must have been 2 or 3 months since I used it last...it had lost NO CHARGE. I put it on my charger and got nothing but a green light. Which speaks volumes about whether or not Moman is using decent cells in their batteries. Apparently, they are! So this battery charged right up in a short time on my dual charger, and shows a full charge. No issues, no problems, no worries. And given how well my other Moman V-mount battery works, I have good confidence in this one's longevity as well. And when you consider that these are 25-50% cheaper than the "big brands", it's win-win. 5 stars all the way. And here's hoping Moman continues their trend of putting out quality products at killer prices.
