updated review after 4 bottles. I bought this originally to help treat my cat for an autoimmune disease Pemphigus foliaceus (PF). I used it both orally and topically. It did seem to work along with the steroids injections given by the vet. He is in remission but I will definitely buy more to keep on hand. New... I have been using this over the past year to disinfect the water filters for my cat fountains, use for cuts or cat scratches and so forth. It has truly been remarkable. My biggest results came from cutting my leg with a molding nails at it was sticking out of my doorway. It was quick and deep at least an eighth of an inch deep and an inch long. it was so deep that it didn't even start bleeding until a minute or two later. I went straight for my silver bottle and put a few drops on the open cut then applied a Band-Aid with some on the pad. The next day I removed the Band-Aid to check the cut and it was completely sealed. I thought for sure it would open with infection but it wasn't even sore to the touch. One day and it actually healed. This was something that probably could have used a stitch to hold it closed. I also contribute the seal from my waterproof clear Band-Aids because they securely held everything in place. I have had my share of cats scratches and a few bites with my rescue kittens. As soon as I am scratched I immediately put a drop on the scratch and rub it in. If it is a puncture I immediately put a dropper to and rub it deep into the puncture. So far I have not had any infections at all since I've been doing this. Several years ago one of my cats got tangled in the blinds and I was new to being a cat mom. I immediately try to pick him up to free him from the Tangled lines and he bit me and punctured the top of my hand.. within 10 minutes my hand started to tingle and swell. Within an hour I was at an exigent center getting a tetanus shot and antibiotics. I did immediately wash my hands with any bacterial soap and deeply rubbed that soap into the tooth puncture but it did not help. I learned a valuable lesson back then about cats and about the dangers of ignoring a bite from a cat. I was lucky because I sought treatment immediately. After seeing my doctor a few days later he told me I did the best thing by getting it checked out because others he had seen previously had severe infections that cost extensive damage. This will always be Stocked in my house in multiple locations. Thank you for all the other reviews because I am learning other ways to use this product.

I can’t say this works for sure to be honest. Maybe I just want it to work so badly that the placebo effect kicks in. I think I would need a larger bottle to discern whether it works orally as well as people say it does. I have an auto immune disease and some associated skin problems and arthritis problems that have caused significant issues. I decided I would bite the bullet and give this a try. While I can’t say definitively that it works orally(which is why I mostly bought it) I CAN say it worked rather well topically. I have a significant amount of psoriasis behind my ears which was red and chaffing and hurt. I applied a few drops before bed by just dripping it on my ear and when I woke up it was crusting over and healing! Pretty shocking as I haven’t had that result from anything else. So for topical reasons this colloidal silver did have great effects. Orally the verdict is still out. I think if you are planning to go on a regimen like I am you will want to purchase a larger bottle as this goes very quickly. This size is really good for those who want to use it on their pets or for a short term illness such as a cold or sore throat. The color is an amber color-not cloudy or anything though, just like water with a tint to it. The taste is very close to water so if you put it in anything you won’t notice. Taking it directly you would notice the slightest taste but it’s just a metallic kind of thing. And to be honest I noticed more of a metallic taste a few minutes *AFTER* I had ingested it. Which makes me feel like it actually may be working and getting into my system properly. But like I said, I didn’t have a large enough bottle to make sure it was working adequately for my intended use. I WILL be purchasing another bottle-just larger this time. The bottle came quickly and well packaged. It is also a glass tincture bottle which is nice considering some of these companies have plastic bottles. And plastics with metals in them can create a toxic mix! So choose glass for items like this! :-) Overall a good purchase-I’m impressed by what it did for my skin, I’ll withold more judgement for its effects on the rest of my body until I get on a regime.
