This brand miso silver is not only reasonably priced but actually works! I transfer to a small glass spray bottle to administer. I've been able to reduce itching from shingles and eczema as well as disinfect open sores. Wonderful product!

I was quite skeptical about the whole colloidal issue. However, I read the research and decided to give this a try. I have had chronic sinus infections most of my 60+ years. And it has been easy for colds to slip into pneumonia--life-threatening pneumonia. The last 3-4 years, I've not had a cold take root. I've had many threaten, but none take root. Initially, I used the "Neil Med" saline sinus wash kit to help knock such threats out. I would use up to a whole bottle--sometimes per nostril--at the least tickle or sense of threat of an infection in my nose. I'd do this at any hint and every time there was a hint. Usually it would take 2-3 days to knock out the pending threat of a cold. That was still greatly better than having a cold. When I got the Mesosilver, I decided to try that in the squeeze bottle. With the saline solution, I'd have to squeeze the uncomfortable salt solution in my nostrils probably every 3-4 hours until the threat went away. And, I'd have to squeeze a full bottle each time, each of those every 3-4 hour times. With the Mesosilver solution, I only needed 1-3 squirts per nostril. And the effectiveness before the next "cold-threat-tickle" usually lasted 12 hours or so. And instead of 2-3 days of treatment, I usually only need 1-2 days of treatment to prevent a cold. I'm EXTREMELY THANKFUL for this product. It has made the quality of my life greatly better in the nose and sinuses department. BIG THANKS TO THE PRODUCERS OF THIS WONDERFUL PRODUCT. I breathe a lot easier having it around. There was, initially, a bit of a kind of . . . "Ice cream-headache" feeling when the Mesosilver squirts. A friend gifted in chemistry knowledge said it was because of the Ph difference. The saline solution is uncomfortable but more close to the natural Ph in the nose. AS I've used the Mesosilver more, that "ice cream-headache" feeling barely happens any more. When I use it in the shower, running a shower of hot water over my head quickly seems to moderate the brief tweak of discomfort in my head, anyway. Regardless, the benefit of the rather quick prevention of a cold is more than worth the hassle and brief discomfort.

I purchased a bottle of MesoSilver in 2006 when my mother was bedridden. She suffered Alzheimer and was at the point her body was just breaking down. She had a bedsore that was horribly infected. I had her home care aid spray MesoSilver on the festering wound several times a day and in about 3 days the deterioration stopped and you could see on the outer edges of the sore it was beginning to heal. Unfortunately she had developed sepsis prior to using the product and died a few weeks later. The entire bottle hadn't been used so I just stored it in the medicine closet and forgot about it. Seven years later I ran across it when my daughter & granddaughter developed boils that were not responsive to antibiotics. My daughters dactor told her she had MSARS. Not a big fan on modern medicine I started researching and read where a story about a man who used collodrial silver to get rid of a MSARS infection. I started to purchase another bottle but remembered the MesoSilver in the medicine closet. I put some in a spray bottle, instructed my daughter to spray the boils she and my granddaughter had. Overnight the boils, in the armpit (daughter) and butt (granddughter), which were raised and painful were flat, still red but no longer painful. Over the next three days the redness abated and the boils have not returned. This happened last fall. My daughter in law has experienced cystic acne since she was 10. She'd been prescribed every product her dermatologist could think of over the years. Spend countless dollars on OTC treatments. Nothing worked. From the same bottle, that was 7 years old, I gave her a spray bottle full of MesoSilver, told her to spray the acne cysts. She started the treatment on a Sunday and by Wednesday all the acne spots were just flat round circles. She purchased her own bottle, began taking it internally and spraying the acne cysts and within 10 days her face was completely clear. She's in her early 30's and said she can't remember the last time her face was clear. She is now on a maintenance dose and admits if she doesn't stick to it religiously, the cysts return. I now just keep a bottle on hand. My grandson developed eczema from vaccines and when he has flare up-I use it and it clears it up. Any open would gets sprayed, any rash responds in a day or so. Multiple uses for it. Would I recommend it-yes.

January, 2014 I feel obliged to write an update to below that I wrote 5 years ago, especially because the good amount of comments indicate many people also suffer from similar and mysterious issues. I continue to use this product today for a variety of things and still recommend it, though now only topically as I simply did not feel comfortable ingesting that much silver for a prolonged period. But I just want to let people know what finally resolved all of the below issues for me, almost magically: I LOST WEIGHT. I was about 45 lbs. overweight and I've lost 25 of it. Weeks of high fever and unbearable muscle aches, gone. Psoriasis-like skin condition, gone. Hair loss, stopped. Mild rosacea that I had been developing, gone. I did not set out to lose weight as my main concern was to get healthy - I simply could not go on as was. I decided to make wholesale changes to my life in terms of diet, more sleep, and reducing stress. To that end I eliminated sugar, only rarely ate wheat products, and ate yogurt and took probiotics everyday. I also made an effort to get at least 8 hours of quality sleep instead of my usual 6-7. I found that the extra sleep immediately affected my stress level for the better. After a few months I had lost over 20 lbs, and one day I realized that I had not had a bout of fever or skin outbreak in more than a month. The first time in about 6 years I had gone that long. For those who are thinking that the elimination of wheat and sugar is what did it as opposed to weight loss, I do in fact believe that's part of it, but over the holidays a couple of years ago I gained back some of the weight even though I had continued to avoid sugar and wheat. I gained over 10 lbs. within a couple of months. Guess what? Skin condition was back, though less severe than the original form. I've since lost that weight and am continuing to lose more, and have not had an issue for the last 2 years. I always knew I should lose some weight as my joints had started to hurt, but I am truly amazed at the transformation from my mystery illness, especially because my vitals had always been excellent and I had no reason to believe that losing weight would resolve my particularly strange issues. Researching it online, I think a lot has to do with the extra hormones your body generates when you are overweight. I had tried to lose excess pounds for years, but nothing motivated me more than my mystery illness which affected everything from my ability to make a living to being able to go out in public. What others have may be a different issue or Lyme Disease, as many commenters suspect, but I just want to pass along my experience because it never, ever would have occurred to me in a million years that the strange illness that gripped me for so long was tied to my weight. ********************************************************** I've been meaning to write something about colloidal silver for a while now. Here's my background: I have been suffering from some sort of a mysterious illness for the last few years. It's not serious in the medical sense, but before I found relief with this product it affected the quality of my life in a major way from a combination of psoriasis-like symptoms plus super high fever (persistently around 101 for weeks on end), crippling weakness, and severe coughing. When it first started I just assumed it was the flu, though the skin condition was new and disturbing. It wasn't until my second bout that I all of the sudden KNEW with absolute clarity that it was not the flu. I've probably had the flu dozens of times in my life-time and it all of the sudden dawned on me that the unbearable chills and fever, the non-bronchial coughing, and the duration of the illness was similar, yet very, very differnt, if that makes any sense. They say you know your own body and this was absolutely the case with me, though I didn't realize it until then. During the middle of a bout I checked myself into the emgergency room because I was so weak I could barely function. The doctor was very condescending when I told him of my belief that something was wrong with me and it was not the flu. It didn't help that this was the middle of flu season. They ran an influenza test and it came out negative, which I knew for certain that it would, and the perplexted doctor prescribed some anti-biotics and sent me home. The anitbiotics really helped - I felt wholly like myself for the first time in weeks, but the problems started again after about six months. I could probably write a whole book on the things I tried and additional bizarre symptoms that occured with whatever this thing was/is, but cutting to the chase, my research eventually lead me to try silver colloidal, and while it has not cured whatever the heck it is that's wrong with my body, it has really, really helped. My symptoms are less severe when I have a bout and the spritz bottle version almost magically makes better the unbearable itching and tightness of the skin with a single spray. It also works for the whole family on a variety of things, from athelete's feet to yeast infections. It has become truly indispensable to me. Some things I want to pass on from my research and experience with using silver colloidal during the last couple of years: I was at first scared off by a potential skin problem called argyria. It's a condition in which your skin actually turns into a silver gray color. You should do your own research, but as I understand it this condition is caused by silver protein particals and is not an issue for well-made products, which brings to my next point on quality assurance. I actually started off with a manufacturer from Britain because I was paranoid about finding a quality vendor, and I concluded after much research that they were it. I did like their product very much, however, it was very expensive and the overseas shipping didn't help. Further research landed me with this particular vendor. I find this product very good and the cost more reasonable and I've been using them for almost two years . However, a bottle that I ordered the last time was ineffective/defective. At first I thought I was imagining it but it became clear to me that it definitely came from a bad batch. I contacted them to complain and they promptly sent me a new bottle free of charge. The new one is definitely good. So, on the one hand, I have had mostly excellent results from this vendor, and I am very impressed and thankful for their great customer service. On the other, I am a bit worried that I actually received an ineffectual product. If it had been the first time I tried it I probably would have thought it junk and thrown it away. I think the problem is that silver colloidal manufacturers are not standarized under strict quality control laws like other medicines because they are not technically considered meds, so the key is to find a vendor that is dependable and of high quality. I like this one and am pretty happy with them but I am constantly vigilant and on the lookout for others that might be of higher quality. I am also still confused on the whole ppm issue even after reading much about it. Some claim higher is more effective, while this vendor authoritatively claim otherwise. It's an important distinction and I wish I could get clarity, but again, there is no good, independant research done on silver colloidal so it's hard to know who to believe. The bottom line for me though, is that this product has helped me immensely.

Sept 2015 - I have been using this for 1.5 years. I have had only one cold in that time. It was a bad one that swept through the office. Everyone else was out for at least 8-10 days. I got the sniffles, a little under the weather, but never missed a day of work. *************Update - March 2020 *************** I had to update this review. I had anemia as a child. Strep throat at least 2-3 times a year for over 35 years and the last time for almost 2 years solid. I had ear infections so often as a child, I now have scar tissue on my eardrums that has caused 45% hearing loss. I would take antibiotics and then within a month get it again. If someone had a cold within 100 feet of me, I got sick. I started using this in the beginning of 2014. I started with 1 Tbl every other day for the first week, then 2 Tbl a week for the next month, now 2 Tbl once a month. I have not had one real cold since I started using this back in 2014. 4 or 5 times in the last 6 years, one day I might feel a little stuffy and run down with a low grade fever. I would take an extra dose and the next day I feel 100%. This has been the most amazing product for my health I have ever used. I thought at first the price was a little high, but 1 bottle now lasts me an entire year. Also, I have probably saved at the least 2-3 thousand dollars over the last 6 years. I don't have to take time off work for being sick or going the Doctor's office. I don't have the Doctor bills or have to spend hundreds of dollars every year of decongestants or pain meds or cold medications. I feel more healthy then I have my entire life. I wish I had this when I was younger. I might not have the hearing loss I now have. For your own health and the health of your family, do not hesitate, get this product without delay. I tell everyone about this! My friends that have taken my advice on this are getting the same results I have and it improved the quality of their lives!!! This is the real deal. I had what the doctors said was a staph infection. Put me on two antibiotics. I had 5 blister like pimples on my arm. Took 8 days of being on antibiotics, mind you, I was given an IV of antibiotics in the ER and the scripts. Pimples finally healed 3 days before the scripts were done. Less than A month later I got another pimple right above the others that healed. No way was this a staph infection the first time let alone a second time in less than a month. The next day another pimple appeared (on right forearm). I self diagnosed it as a parisite or pathegon infestation. Anyway, I ran to my local herb store for silver but all they had was the sorveign brand. Sucked it down all day. Ordered this that night because I didnt feel the other brand was working let alone fast enough. Had it Monday when I got home from work. Drank 2 tbs before bed that might. Tuesday the pimples that had a quarter sized red mark surrounding them had shrunk to a dime size. I continued taking 3 Tbs daily. Weds the pimple itself had shrunk drastically. Thursday (today) almost gone. They have dried up, no longer raised or look like pimples. Redness is gone. No fever. I’m continuing it like I would an antibiotic then down to a maintenance level. Hubby had a severe toothache and wouldn’t go to dentist. I almost had to hold his nose and pour this down his throat for him to take it Monday night. It’s now Thursday and his pain has subsided to a dull ache and can chew on it again. It’s killing his infection too. I highly recommend this brand and will continue to order this one. Lots of research and the one thing they all had in common was real colloidal silver IS NOT LIGHT SENTSATIVE. So it should not be in brown or blue protective bottles. No matter how they are preparing it, IONIC silver is not pure colloidal silver. Pure is what’s needed in replacement of what antibiotics do but ten time more effective than antibiotics and faster!!!

8/2/2015 update: i now only use this for my cat occasionally, adding it to the water in her fountain perhaps once a month. when it looks like she may be digressing, i alternate between mesosilver and bragg's raw organic apple cider vinegar, but of course the vinegar cannot touch her eyes. diluted with water 1:2 (braggs:water), i saturate the back of her neck, being careful to keep the vinegar solution away from her eyes. this really helps her and clears her eye up in about two days. the mesosilver alternated with the bragg's ACV, has made a big difference in stabilizing her health. she is the healthiest she has ever been, and needs comparatively little intervention from my end. the picture was taken in mid-july 2015. original review: i purchased this for $29.97 in march 2015. this is my first and only experience with any colloidal silver product, but i have heard a lot about colloidal silver previously, in particular from a doctor friend who made his own to help control and eradicate ongoing issues with his lyme's disease, which is now, btw, completely under control. i purchased this to use on my cat on the recommendation of an authority in the essential oils and natural healing field to deal with an eye discharge problem she was having that antibiotics wasn't fixing. when i reached out to this person for advice, he said if it were his cat, he would use colloidal silver as eye drops, but did not recommend any particular brand or type. update: using diluted colloidal silver in drops for my cats eye, plus adding it to her water and food, has made a big improvement in her eye without harming her internally. i try not to overdo it. the weeping from her eye has decreased drastically, although there is still some excess watering. i purchased a couple of pet fountains which she uses all the time. i add about three cups of water a day, but when i completely change the water every few days, i add about a capful of mesosilver to ensure the water she is drinking is sterilized. (5/2/15 update: i don't use diluted drops in her eyes or on her food any longer. now i just put it in the water in her pet fountains.) although i cannot offer a comparison between this brand/type and other colloidal silver brands/types, i can say that this was a good purchase that has shown results. i researched different brands and types of colloidal silvers before buying this product.

I have been buying this for a good while and take it regularly. It is an important part of MY health program.
