So good! So glad I finally decided to try this stuff. I used to buy “Tuno” from the Wegmans near my home when I lived upstate, and loved it. But I moved back to NYC a couple years ago and neither the Wegmans nor Whole Foods or any other grocery stores I’ve browsed down here have it or anything similar. UnMEAT’s vegan tuna is such a great plant based’s alternative. Great taste, texture, portion (6.3 compared to Tuno’s 5oz), price, and it’s filling, too! Huge bonus points that the cans include pull tabs, making it so easy to open them on-the-go, at the office, etc. Quick and easy protein-packed lunch. (Bit of calcium, iron, and potassium, too!) Just beware of any additional spices/seasoning you may add, particularly salt or anything containing it, as the tuna already starts out with 610mg (27% daily value). Or at least, that goes for the ones in sunflower oil, anyway. Overall, 5/5. 100% will order again in the future.

It was really good I used to buy "good catch" tuna but unfortunately they stopped manufacturing that 🙁🙁. I figured I'd give this a try and it was good. I put it some celery carrots chopped onions a little bit of salt vegan Mayo some relish and a bit of yellow mustard and I think it helps if you take some dry seaweed and put it in a spice blender and add that to it which adds a little fishy taste to it.

Love this stuff, little mayo and your favorite condiments feels and tastes just like tuna, in my opinion

Very surprised at how much I enjoyed these! As a vegan, I love a tuna melt sandwich from growing up and this got me close to it! The texture is good, gives you the feel of tuna when you eat it. Make sure to drain them really, really good or it can be very wet. I thought I drained them good but once I started mixing, more liquid was still coming out so take note to smash them thoroughly to get the water out for certain times you need a "dry" tuna consistency. The smell is a off putting...smells like dog food to me. That was the one con that we noticed. But once you start mixing it with other things (vegan mayo etc) then the smell is toned down and doable. But when the can first pops open...yuck! Other than that, easy open cans, good portion in each can to make at least two tuna melt sandwiches and more than enough if you are going the tuna and cracker route for guests. I felt like the case was pricey when I first ordered but now that I see how much each can produces, I'm okay with buying this bulk set and having access to tuna when I need it. It will likely last for a while. Definitely will purchase again.

This is delicious! Great for a tuna melt or just lettuce and tomato on whole wheat. Vegan or not it’s really good 😋

The best base tuna ever I prefer the one in water, but 10 out of 10

This line makes an amazing alternative to tuna. I have been loving everything I’ve tried from this brand so far. The tuna is always hard to get right as a vegan because of trying to capture that sea flavor. This does a great job of capturing it and makes me feel like I’m having a tuna sandwich

Okay, I was concerned about whether this would taste like tunafish. It’s fabulous I love it. Unfortunately, the packaging is dangerous. First of all it’s tremendously hard to open. Had to open it with a spoon flipping the pop top and wedging the spoon in and prying the top off that way. Unfortunately yesterday I wanted to make a double batch. The first can was difficult to open as usual. The product is packed and oil making the can slippery and also making the spoon slippery if you open it that way. I almost sliced my finger off on the side of the top , of the can. It was partly off. It was so sharp like a razor. I’m going to try to use an electric can opener from the bottom. If this does not work, I’m throwing it all away because I do not want anyone to injure themselves like I did.
