To do a fair test I had my wife put it in three different piles and test them against two other brands of gas station jerky. Only my wife knew what was what. It got only so-so reviews. There was several pieces that were really, really good. However, out of 30 odd pieces there was only four or five that were really good. The rest were average or below average. Some of the pieces were extremely dry, and there was also a little bone piece in there. So, at basically double the price per oz for the gas station jerky it just wasn't worth the money unfortunately.

R-C Ranch Wagyu Beef Jerky and another brand are at the top of my list for quality, texture, and taste. Great to snack on at work and has the best overall flavor of any jerky I have eaten.

It was pretty good. Not as good as A5, but it’s a good snack. Pricey? Yes. But is it good? Also yes. Better than the other brands for sure. Decent ammount of meat too. Definitely wagyu quality. I’d buy it again.
