Great pair of headphones and ones you should buy
So I have had these headphones for a little over 2 years. I have thrown them onto my bed where they have hit my headboard, I've dropped them, crushed them, and ripped the top part to them to where the foam is exposed. I say this to show that even though they have been through alot with me using them almost every single day, they have not once dropped in audio quality, and comfortability. I use my consoles to watch TV so I plug in my headphones to either my Xbox or Playstation controller depending on which im using so I use them almost everyday and not once has it ever dropped in audio quality. The volume control on it is awesome because I dont have to go into the settings and turn up or down the volume if its too loud or too quiet and I can just turn the volume wheel on the side to turn it up or down so it makes controlling the audio really easy on everything I've used with these headphones. They fit me pretty well, I've had no problems with them fitting me at all which is really nice because I wont lose out on the audio quality these headphones have just because they dont fit over my ears all the way. For the mic part of it, I cant really say much about it because I do have a separate mic for my pc so I've only used the mic that comes with the headphones maybe 5 times since I've had them but what I can say is that from what I've used of the mic, everyone I talked to with it didnt have any problems with how it sounded, atleast to my knowledge. I did a few audio tests when I first got it and I remember that the mic quality was alot better than the other 2 headphones I had before I got these. I am writing this review because when I was trying to find headphones for the first time, I ended up buying 2 other pairs of headphones that said they were great but ended up being anything but. The first pair I got stopped having audio come out of it on the right side and that was after I think 9 months of having them and then the second pair I had gotten ended up snapping because they wouldn't fit over my ears unless they were fully extended and they ended up snapping within 4 months of having them. After that last pair broke, I had to look for another pair of headphones from a different seller and I found these thinking that they probably won't last a year because there are always different reviews with people saying they are great and other people saying they are the worst pair of headphones ever so I bought them thinking that I might end up having to buy a new pair of headphones soon after I get these but I never had to because these headphones are amazing from my experience with them. Im not saying these headphones will end up being great for everyone because some people could end up getting a faulty pair of them and others could get an amazing pair of them like I did, but I just wanted to share my experience with these headphones so hopefully, if anyone is looking for a pair of headphones, they can find my review on them and use the review to decide if they are gonna get these headphones or not. Hopefully this review is helpful to anyone looking for a pair of headphones.

SUPERB build and sound quality
Excellent quality, exactly the right quality for the price. Microphone and playback drivers have excellent quality. Using USB was a great touch, gives extra bandwidth and power that 3.5mm cannot do as well. Proves that you don't need to use one type of billing scheme.

Good while it lasted.. (edited: Still good.)
*** EDITED 09/26/2025*** I was about to throw these in the garbage. Just for grins I grabbed the USB cable attached to the headphones. While they were firmly attached, I found that by pressing VERY HARD against the base of the cable, that it actually inserted another millimeter. I retested the headphones... and the microphone now works, loud and clear! Changing my rating from 2 to 4. Not giving this a 5, because the components of this thing should fit together cleanly, and not have to be forced in place, to work. --------------------------------------------- These headphones did the job, and even blocked some outside noise. It looks good. Sound was clear. Microphone worked great from mid-April when I bought it... until the end of August. Microphone no longer works. I verified it is not the mute button, it is not the connection, and it is not my computer (it doesn't work on anyone's computer). The damn thing just quit working in the middle of a Teams meeting. A product this expensive should last more than four months before going belly-up.

Great headset, especially if you're looking for value for your money.
I am very impressed with this headset. Due to the current situation, I've been spending a lot of time gaming online with friends. When I first started using this one, everyone remarked at how much clearer my voice was! I could also hear a noticeable improvement in audio quality over my last one. The virtual surround sound works well, there is definitely a spatial component to the sound compared to what you get with a plain stereo headset. The software needed to make use of the surround sound (over the USB-C connection) is simple and unobtrusive. No popups or notifications from it. You can set the master headset volume as well as the left and right channels individually. The mic and the controls for the headset are all on the left side, as seen in the second picture. From the rear, there is: a volume wheel, a mic enable/disable button, the 3.5mm stereo input, the USB-C input, and the microphone port. The mic enable/disable toggles between raised, and depressed, so you can feel by touch if the mic is active or not. The microphone port is a 3.5mm connection, but it has a square profile on the port and on the mic that locks it to prevent it from rotating. The microphone adjusts freely and includes a foam windscreen to cut down on breath sounds. From testing it on Discord, my voice sounds clearer than with the headsets (even ones designed for videoconferencing) that I previously used. The headphones themselves are nice and comfortable. These are an over-ear design, with very soft leather cushions, so they make a very nice seal around your ears. That sealing does help to block out background noise. Overall, this is a great headset, and when you factor in the price, I think this is a no-brainer. Get one and you won't be disappointed.

Don't Buy These They Break In 30 Days (Happened Twice in a Row)
As an avid gamer for both PlayStation and PC, I do not recommend these headphones. I am very careful with my belongings and have had several sets of headphones over the years work for long periods of times. I found myself displeased with the software associated with the headphones I had been using and stumbled upon these while searching on Amazon. They were a great price and had decent reviews, so I picked them up. They worked really well for the first couple of weeks, were comfortable to wear, good sound quality, decent mic, etc... But on day 32, naturally 2 days after the return window they stopped working. The right headset no longer had any sound and the microphone stopped working. I had no visible wire kinks, no outward damage, nothing. They had never even left my desk. SO I reached out to their customer support, they were really great. Walked me through a few possible fixes, nothing worked. I even tried buying a new chord for it at Walmart, they were just busted. No idea why. I sent over the serial number and everything and the company sent me a new set of headphones. Great, I really appreciated it. Well, here I am again, just about a month, maybe less to me honest, after receiving my replacement headset and guess what stopped working? The entire headset. Nothing works. Completely out of the blue. I was in the middle of a game with my friends and the entire headset just gave up. Neither earmuff, no mic, nothing. I have no idea what is wrong with these things or if me quietly sitting here at my desk playing Minecraft after work with my friends is just too strenuous, but I am irritated. I withheld my bad review before thinking it was likely a problem with the particular pair I got, but twice now? Last a month and just simply stop working? This brand clearly has some quality control issues and if you like having headphones longer than 30 days, I recommend buying elsewhere. This being said, I have tried several other brands and NEVER had a headset last less than 2 years minimum before giving me issues. Do not buy these, they genuinely are not worth the hassle.

Great
Got them an a Christmas gift for my son who is a big gamer. He loves the sound quality and the way they fit. They are not bulky and he loves the detachable microphone. Great quality and easy to use. All in all great headphones.

Not the quality other reviews claim
I bought these based on great reviews and had high expectations. I compared them with two other headsets (the popular Tao Tronics wireless/noise canceling/bluetooth and the Xiberia V22 Gaming Headset). I returned these... here's why. - Sound quality was subpar. What sounded generally acceptable at first turned into a surprise when I compared these to the other two headsets in a side by side comparison. (I used the Tao Tronics in a wired config, not via bluetooth, to be fair). The Xiberia V22 was considerably better than the Tao Tronic (with better balance of bass) and this Eksa landed at the bottom of the list. I listened to the same music and podcast records and after hearing the other two, it was easy to notice how thin and hollow the Eksa sounded. The bass was lacking compared to the other two, and in the end the hollow vocals became irritating. - Mic quality was way too low. I made the same type of recording of my voice and compared this to the Xiberia V22. The Eksa recorded at a very low volume, the Xiberia didn't. The difference was significant. I asked my daughter to listen to each recording, and she said I didn't sound "like me" using the Eksa. On the positive side, I really found these comfortable and felt they were constructed well, using metal instead of plastic. When I unboxed them, I felt I had the winner in my hands already as they felt solid and inspired a sense of quality. I really wanted these to win my tests, so I downloaded the recommended Windows software and drivers and retested. I could boost the mic input volume with the software, but even at max boost it was still lower volume than the Xiberia without any mic boost. The software options for sound settings didn't get rid of the thinness of the vocals, and the bass just wasn't there compared to the others. I reluctantly concluded these were the worst audio quality of the three and I couldn't fix it with software. I do understand these are not $100 headphones. Yes, they do produce sound and the mic barely picks up enough of your voice only if using the recommended software to boost the input to the MAX, but considering I was trialing this and the Xiberia V22 (I already owned the Tao Tronics) and the Xiberia was far superior in both sound and mic quality, I returned these and kept the Xiberia. The Xiberia do have more plastic and are fit a bit more snugly on my head than these, but they are still comfortable and cost even less than the Eksa did (although cost did not factor into my conclusion or decision to return). So while I understand the may positive reviews stating they are good "for the price" I came to a different conclusion, as the less costly headphones sounded superior by a huge margin. Ultimately, I would prefer the comfort and build quality of these with the sound/mic quality of the Xiberia V22.
