It's perfect!
★★★★★ Compact, feature-packed, and reliable I've been really happy with this espresso scale. It's small and compact, so it fits perfectly on my counter and even tucks under my machine's portafilter without any issues, its great for those of us with limited counter space. The automatic timer is a standout feature. It starts and stops on its own, which makes dialing in shots so much easier without fumbling for a separate stopwatch. Battery life has also impressed me. I've used it regularly and haven't had to recharge nearly as often as I expected. Overall, a well-designed, practical scale that's made my espresso routine smoother. Highly recommend!

Tiny scale that punches way above its weight - my espresso game leveled up
Picked this up in early December after realizing I was just eyeballing my espresso doses and getting wildly inconsistent shots. Best $30 I've spent on coffee gear in a long time. The size is perfect for fitting under my portafilter. It's seriously small, like fits-in-my-hand small, but it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. I have a Gaggia Classic and the scale slides right under the group head with plenty of clearance. Some scales I looked at were too big to fit in that tight space. Accuracy is legit. I've tested it against my kitchen scale and it's spot on every time. The 0.1g precision makes a noticeable difference when dialing in espresso. I can tell when I'm at 18.0g versus 18.3g, and that small difference actually affects the shot. For pour over coffee it's also great for hitting exact water ratios. The auto timer is clutch. As soon as weight registers on the scale, it starts counting automatically. No fumbling with buttons while I'm pulling a shot. I can focus on watching the extraction and the timer just runs in the background. There's also a manual timer mode if you want to start it yourself, but I never use it. Battery life is insane. I've been using it daily for almost three months now and I've charged it maybe twice. The auto-sleep kicks in after five minutes so it's not draining power when I'm not actively brewing. The USB-C charging is convenient since I can use the same cable as my phone. The mute function is a game changer for early mornings. I just hold down two buttons and it turns off all the beeps. My wife works nights so I'm making coffee at 5:30 AM trying not to wake her up. Silent scale means one less thing beeping in a quiet house. The glass surface looks clean and modern. Way nicer than the plastic scales I was looking at. It wipes down easily when I inevitably spill coffee grounds or drips on it. The hidden LED display is a cool touch, literally disappears when the scale is off. The silicone pad it comes with is useful. I keep it on the scale to protect the glass and it gives a bit of grip so my portafilter doesn't slide around. It's also heat resistant which is nice when I'm weighing hot brew water for pour over. Build quality feels solid. The touch buttons are responsive and the glass hasn't scratched despite daily use and me being less than careful with it. Only minor complaint is the display can be hard to read in really bright light depending on the angle. Not a huge deal but occasionally I have to tilt my head to see the numbers clearly. Also, the units switch between grams, ounces, and milliliters which is fine, but I only ever use grams so that button feels wasted on me. If you're serious about espresso or pour over and you're not weighing your doses, you're missing out. This scale is small, accurate, looks good, and the battery lasts forever. Totally worth it.

Absolutely needed for espresso
This is amazing. I use this every single day for my espresso, measure beans, measure how many grams of espresso was brewed, measure how many oz of milk I need. Does ounces, mls, and oz. Comes with a silicone slip to keep the screen clean and not scratched. Small enough to fit on my machine or store anywhere. Easy to read display. Buttons respond fast when lightly touching. Such a good value for your money especially if you want to make good espresso, it's definitely a need.

dead battery in a month UPDATE -UP RATED
I have bought several of these from other sellers. The batteries all failed eventually. I really liked this one. With the glass top, the slightly larger body and the higher price I thought this one might be different. I destroyed one of the other ones to see if I could see the battery, and failed. The battery indicator started flashing on this one after two weeks. I charged it overnight and and it was still flashing. I charged it for another night - I read somewhere to not use a "fast charger" but no definition of how fast. So I used an old Apple original cube because I don't they get any slower than that. Eventually I used it with light flashing for two more weeks before it quit altogether. So I searched most of the other similar ones here - (and there a lot of them) to try again. All of them had reviews mentioning early battery failure. The 4 star ratings appeared to come from people that wrote them after a few uses. I was about to give up and use a huge kitchen scale. But in one of the reviews a guy writes that these don't work with "standard USB C cables". ???? USB C IS A STANDARD!! Anything else is not USBC. Just on a whim, because I had run out of options, I looked around and found a cable that came with one the scales I had bought. I charged it overnight as before. Next morning it came on and the light was not flashing. How many people on this planet have iPhones or something else with a USB C cable and it's already plugged into a charger, and naturally used it to charge this scale rather than use the cheap short one that came with the scale and came without a charger? I'm not changing my rating from 1 star because they must know that and should have a sticker on the front of the scale saying to use only their cheap nonstandard cable. I will look up this review when it quits working for good. If it makes it past one year it will be my favorite scale. When I started this odyssey I had hoped for a couple of years. Now I will settle for one. I should note my main use: Aeropress, at least five or six times every day - weighing the Dose and monitoring the Brew Time. Almost any of these type things will work fine for that with a minimal countertop footprint...unless they fail. Update - Uprated: So. I recharged it with their cheap short cable. The charge lasted at least twice as long as the original charge it came with. The next time the charge light came on I watched it and it only took about an hour to charge up. I'm still mad that I threw two other ones away. But I have to uprate this from One Star to 5. I like it. It seems to be easier than the others to keep from going from grams to something else. And I wish the "auto" function would go away but it shows a big AUTO notice on the screen so it's hard to miss if you get it turned on accidentally. I only do americanos with my expresso machine so it wouldn't work with that anyway. Bottom line - this one is better than the others I've bought hands down. I hope I don't have to buy another soon. It's smaller than the largest one, nice glass top, and more readable display. Most of these ads look the same but they are all different in some ways. All of them are repeatable so if you use a dosing cup for instance it weighs the same every time to the 10th g, or minus g if it' removed. I can only attest to Aeropress or Kalita pour overs but it's the best of the four I have tried.

Sensitive
LOVE this. Super easy to use and charge. Different settings even has a timer! Very sleek and small. I use it for anything from measuring espresso to weighing meat. It is very sensitive!!

Mostly great, except one little annoyance
Pros- lightweight, small, very accurate, easy to clean, timer included. Cons- I use this to brew espresso on my Breville Touch and to get an accurate reading, you have to place something flat (structured) under the scale. Otherwise the reading just jumps all over the place. I know lot of espresso machines have the same base, so this might be an issue for some! This is my reason for 4/5 stars. It’s an easy fix, it’s just kind of annoying. Value for the price seems to be on point. It’s easy to clean. It has a timer as well as scale (nice for espresso). Buttons work the first time you push them. That’s it that’s all

Perfect (with the help of 3D printing)
This scale offers a great value - it is accurate, easy to use, hefty, and good-looking. A potential flaw is that the glossy top surface is bound to accumulate scratches from use. However, the included protective rubber cover is clumsy to use because it doesn't stay put. I fixed this myself with a flexible 3D-printed cover (see photo). Others are welcome to use my design as well to make this a perfect scale. It can be found on Makerworld.

Works well for some tasks, but the timer has limitations
- I bought this scale for my espresso machine because of its small size and rechargeable battery. I also like the LED display. - It has a nice, heavy build quality with rubber feet. - When the battery is not fully charged, the accuracy can be inconsistent. When it’s fully charged, the weight sometimes increases right as the espresso machine starts. I then have to quickly press the tare button. I also have no practical way to verify the scale's accuracy because of the calibration weights required. - One feature I dislike is the auto-timer. When it is turned on, the scale cannot be used to measure coffee beans normally. After a few beans are dropped onto the scale, it stops measuring. I have to turn the auto-timer off and then back on to use the scale for espresso. Because of this, I now use a different scale for measuring beans. - Another issue is that the auto-timer takes too long to start after the espresso begins hitting the cup. By the time it starts, some of the extraction has already occurred. - I also asked the seller what calibration weights are required. I was told it requires a 1 kg weight. For a small, less expensive coffee scale, I think requiring such heavy calibration weights is impractical. If the scale could be calibrated using lower weights, such as 200 g and 500 g, a basic calibration weight set would be sufficient. Because of the required weights, I am unable to calibrate the scale and have to use it as it is.

Very nice solid build quality
Great little coffee scale. Very responsive & accurate. Chargeable so no messing with batteries. Overall build and finish excellent for this price. Feels premium. Seems largely water-resistant as well, charging port is covered as well. Soft as well as hard on off switch. Could be a bit thinner (~2cm), check for dimensions if that's really important to you. Unless you're looking for advanced features like bluetooth etc, almost can't go wrong with this scale.
