Folks using these for dry goods might not notice, but for maple syrup, it's a big problem. Because they are so expensive, I was expecting higher quality. [Update] Once I posted this review (and Home Essentials discovered the problem) I was offered an additional bottle to replace the flawed one in the original shipment. Not in time for my intended use, but a good will gesture that I appreciate.
