Access the fotos from your phone is possible via Synology Photos **Q: Can I use 2-4TB SSD and use JBOD to get 8 TB storage?** A: I would say no. Using 2 4TB drives will only give you 4TB storage as one of the two drives is a mirror of the first one for fail-over. This is the purpose of NAS drive system. Synology website will explain the configurations in more detail.
