Fantastic!
Having never done this before I wasnโt sure if the price of the saber would make a difference- but in my (now vast) experience of one time- it doesnโt appear so! This one worked beautifully- very clean break! Recommend, excellent value.

So much fun, this works great, good value!
Loved the price, and we've used it a few times, and it works so well. So much fun...you all know you don't cut the bottle, you slice upwards on the rim of the bottle and the pressure pops the top off in a clean break...but your guests don't need to know that;) Just be sure to chill the bottle in the freezer for 30 minutes first...then pop! No need to buy a more expensive saber, this looks great and has good heft...love it!

Great Champagne saber
This was exactly as expected. Now start sabering all your Champagne. You can see Youtube videos of the technique, but the key is to slide the sword along the seam in the bottle. This is a tradition started by John Jacob Aster IV at the St. Regis (although based on a Napoleon technique) and happens at every St. Regis around the world at 6 p.m. We have seen it at the St. Regis in Puerto Rico (BTW, back up after the hurricane damage) and the St. Regis in Manhattan. Note that there are far more expensive swords available, but this one does the trick. It comes with a fancy box. P.S. done correctly, you only lose a few drops of Champagne. But best done on a deck and don't point at anyone; the cork blows up at a high rate of speed. Bo risk of getting glass in your drink.

Want to feel like a pirate?
I love this thing. 10/10 for sure. The quality is lovely and the function is sublime. It works perfectly if you use it correctly, slide it along the crease of the bottle and .... POP the cork comes right off. It's great for parties and gatherings when you want to be over the top or impress someone!

Makes a nice gift
I canโt speak to its use as this was a gift, but it appears to be quite well made and is even just pretty to look at. The recipient loved it!

Very cool item
Very cool item! We got it as a gift for a friend who loves her champagne and she absolutely loves it. It seems to be decent quality and well mad. The price is right too. I would buy again or recommend to a friend.
