Makes the best tostadas.

Some of my fondest memories of eating out for dinner include sitting with a basket of freshly made tortilla chips sharing a bowl of spicy salsa with my husband. Unfortunately now that costs way too much to go out to dinner so having dinner at home is a good option. This salsa tastes like the real deal even though it is called picante sauce. You can dip chips or shrimp in it or serve it over eggs in the morning or have it with a tortilla and some melted cheese. We find ways to enjoy this and the possibilities are endless. Family fav when we are not able to make our own. Good flavor. Sometimes we add more cilantro if on hand. Great flavor.

Picante is delicious, unfortunately the lid was off, only lost one jar but it was a mess.

Love the sauce, but bought the package of 5 and got 4 intact. The other was on the inside of the package spread out amongst the other boxes. Good thing I don't mind the smell of salsa. The cardboard absorbed most of the juice, just had glass and the rest to clean up. Bought from Amazon and was sent by Amazon. Apparently, those robots don't know how to package glass safely.

I add to spaghetti sauce, on scrambled eggs, on beef, pork or chicken, and of course with potato chips. It's a great way to introduce kids to spicy food because it's not really hot (medium) and it's healthy . Good price too
