The picture quality is very good and it's easy to identify number plates from the footage. The camera is supplied with a mounting bracket and a long USB cable for connecting it to a USB power outlet in your car. As it's so compact it's very easy to hide the camera behind the rear-view mirror.The camera is easily mounted and removed from the bracket by means of a simple push in and slide connector. The only minor complaint that I would have is that the bracket has a sticky pad for attaching to the windscreen instead of a suction cup so it's important to get it stuck on in the right place first time.The camera includes a motion sensor option so that it stops recording when the car is stationary and there's no change in the video image. It also has a force sensor which will automatically store and keep any footage when there is any abrupt change in the car's motion.This is the second camera that I have bought, the first was for my car and now my wife wants one in hers too! Works really well. Image quality is excellent. This dashcam is very small, compact and discreet measuring 5.2cm x 4.5cm. Downside - the LCD screen is very small which makes reviewing clips more difficult. But you would want to connect the dashcam to your computer via the enclosed USB lead where you can access clips and stills with ease for editing purposes. Instructions are adequate but you will find your way round the options with a bit of trial and error.Unlike more expensive dashcams that feature parking mode via a separate button, on the Jayol, you have to go into the menu functions and select 'parking mode' which is called 'motion sensor'. Slightly more fiddly if you want to switch back and forth from using 'parking mode' and normal dashcam recording. I'm not complaining.
