Lovely piece of kit I've used it to roll hoops from 6mm round bar. It's difficult to gauge the final diameter but it rolls them without drama. I imagine, being so unsophisticated, it will complain/break if overloaded trying to roll thicker round or flat bar.

Not used a tool like this before and took some practice to work it out. Looked at Utube video and this really helped. The tool needs greasing first and when doing this the cheap grease nipples snapped of so sent away for some decent ones, as well as another grease gun. Still trying to work out why when rolling a ring the ends never align. The 2 ends are always flat and not curved by about 25mm. Over lapping ends and cutting of the flat ends helps. In my case I used the flat ends on copper bar as part of the unit I was making. Back rolling helped to flatten them even more. The fact that the bar Im rolling twists slightly and causes misalignment at the end is something I can deal with by pulling together and soldering. For a tool thats cheap against others its good enough for me.

Had to get a grease gun 1 nipple broke otherwise good tool will bend 6mm rod

It came USED. . . Even though I brought NEW. .it wobbles all over when bolted down handle well worn . .apart from that it bends fine

The handle was just tack welded on and snapped off the first time I used it. I needed a job doing straight away so drilled a hole in the shaft big enough for the shaft and screwed it in. I would not used this for too big a gauge metal.

This little bender is really useful - this sculpture was using 3mm thick 30mm flat bar and doing the S bend was very easy - also have used on 7mm round bar which it does very well - great addition to my metal work tools

Very good value for money compared to others selling what looks like identical machines Used for flat and also handles 6mm square happily One issue is that the top Cap Head bolt on the roller side that holds the two sides together is put in from the wrong side and gets in the way when rolling some circles, quick turn down in the lathe and its OK now The supplied grease nipples appear to be made from the softest cheapest metal available anywhere and quickly got replaced with decent ones Overall its good value, just need to spend a bit of time on it when it arrived

Looked solid but the lift thread was not hardened so it broke on the second time I used it.
