This was the only thing i could find that had enough length and i have it in one straight run, attached at either side of the room. If you have dogs that are likely to jump up at it a lot and push against it, this configuration may not be suitable. My dogs respect it as a boundary so don't ever push on it. My only real gripe is the open/close mechanism. It's difficult to open with one hand and needs two hands to close , it's a bit fiddly and could have been made so much simpler and easier....like a baby gate! The dog has worked out that if he pushes against the gate he can pop it out and escape. Also, one of the bars has snapped where he pulled on it. I imagine due to the fact is made of rust with some black paint on it.
