Great tool truck alternative. These impact rated low profile sockets are a great value for the money. These can be used with an existing 3/8" ratchet, a ratcheting or standard combinarion wrench you aleady own, or you can purchase an Astro ratchet separately. Great product.

I'm a mechanic by trade, didn't take long to find out how valuable these were. Already have socket sets I only use on fasteners that are rusted or partially damaged. These are a must-have, you'll find out real quick when nothing fits that rusty nut or bolt

Bought purely to round out my nearly complete set of Astro Nano sockets since they're easily my favorite sets of sockets. But they already came into use. The 12.5mm was a perfect fit for my barely used Powerbuilt power steering/alternator pulley puller screw. I spent minutes being utterly baffled by how a 13mm was too big, 12mm too small, and a 1/2" was just barely too big to the point that the puller hex was slightly rounded out on the very first pulley I used it on. There will be plenty of use in the future. A bit odd that a half-size set doesn't have the little grabby grooves in it to prevent further rounding, but it is a specialty set regardless and won't see regular use.

Does exactly what it says. Half sizes are the way to go with rusted bolts and swollen bolts and it works exactly like it says. The functionality and the value for the money and the sizes were perfect. The socket quality is awesome

Great set. Use daily they hold up better then my gear wrench set and for the price you can't beat them. Solid solid tool.
