Great for casual gaming and work
Firstly, I must point out that I am a casual gamer. I do not do the type of competitive gaming that might require the use of dedicated and specialist equipment. Even so, this mouse and keyboard seem to work very well for the types of games I play (Overwatch, Conan Exiles, The Elder Scrolls Online, etc.) and for the price. The keyboard is heavy, which makes it stay where you put it – it may sound like a silly thing but it is nice to have a sturdy, comfortable keyboard under your hands; I’ve had keyboards before that were light and that tended to “drift” under your hands if you typed (or when gaming sessions got hectic), especially on smooth metal desks. The keys have a comfortable action and I find that typing on it is accurate and a breeze. The backlighting can be adjusted in terms of brightness and colour (there is red, purple and blue) although I found that to set it to purple, you need to turn the brightness all the way up. You can even have it cycle through the three colours repeatedly; the kids love that. :P It comes with ten programmable keys (make sure you keep the instructions – it is a bit of work to figure out how to program/deprogram them) as well as a dedicated music player key, mute key and a key for turning off/on the power of your PC (although I have so far only managed to get it turn the power off). For the price, I cannot really fault the keyboard. It works as well if not better than some more expensive keyboards that I have owned before. My biggest issue with the keyboard (and again, this may sound silly) is the lack of dedicated media controls. Play, Pause, Skip forward/backward as well as volume controls, etc. are all accessed via the FN and F5 to F11 keys. This feels like a bit of a strange design choice for a gaming keyboard, especially if you want to skip a music track or turn volume up or down while gaming. Instead of having a dedicated button for such actions, you now must mess around with the FN and for other F keys, which is awkward as this could cause you to accidentally invoke in-game actions unintentionally. But maybe that’s just me. The mouse is decent. It is sturdy and comfortable to hold. The buttons work with a crisp action and you can adjust the DPI. I am not sure how well it will serve really serious gamers, but for the price, it is a perfectly good mouse. It does what it needs to do under normal usage conditions and for casual gaming. For the price, I really cannot fault this mouse and keyboard; dedicated media controls would have made it better (but not worth taking a star off for), but beyond that, for casual gaming and home office work, it is a good value and good quality combo.

Supremo! Good! Excellent!
Received this today after a previous Logitech packed out on me during a game of CS:GO. Being an avid nerd, I considered that like the L'Oreal adverts, I too was worth it and decided that I would treat myself to a Gaming Keyboard. Having scoured the internet I looked up Corsair, Razer, Roccat et al, but I am a financial concious computer nerd. I want maximum nerd for maximum value. Low and behold, this keyboard came into my life. It looks good, acts good, and is good on your wallet. It is very well constructed, and has a good weight to it. Previous reviewers have commented that it is a large keyboard - so what? It's comfortable and the tactile response is good, almost as good as a mechanical keyboard. The WASD keys are even solid red, very useful when you're dashing to the keys quickly. And if you don't like red? There's also Blue and Purple to choose from. The world is your oyster, relatively speaking. In short. Hand over your money. It's that damn good.

Good keyboard, mouse is awful.
The keyboard is absolutely fine, although - as I've seen in other reviews - the keys are a little small. It also feels a bit plasticky and soft but there we are. The keyboard is easy to operate, though I had to squint at the instructions in places. I like the lights on the keyboard and everything works fine. Pros (keyboard): -Nice and sturdy -Easy to program; macro keys are useful (I've pre-programmed 10 salty messages to spam in chat) -the lights are pretty; the three colours available are vibrant. -The keys aren't very loud (I've just moved on from a mechanical keyboard which I managed to break ...somehow...) Cons (Keyboard): -The keys feel a little small -it feels a bit plasticky, I wonder how this will stand up against a good beating -key presses feel a little slow The mouse is total garbage, it's unwieldy, ugly and the buttons aren't programmable. I own a lot of Tecknet products and whilst very cheap this mouse is well below their usual standard. The scroll wheel doesn't feel at all nice, and it does a middle click when pushed to the side. This is being my backup mouse but I'd sooner use an apple wireless mouse for gaming it's that bad. Overall, everything works, and the keyboard is decent quality, but the major let down of this product is the mouse. You could probably get a much better keyboard/mouse combo for a few extra pounds. I couldn't go lower than 4* however because I do quite like the keyboard.

Great mouse for folk with RSI
I get RSI from prolonged use of a mouse and had tried various more expensive alternatives before buying this. I am very pleased, it is easy to use, the buttons are well placed, the scrolling speed can be adjusted and very comfortable to use. It fits well on my desk and the red light is a nice touch.

Bad Middle Mouse Button/Scroll Wheel
Nifty little mouse that definitely looks nice and feels good on my wrist to use. The grip is acceptable, though the whole thing feels a little plastic-y. However, the deal-breaker is that the middle mouse button/scroll wheel is HEINOUSLY stiff to press, which I'm certain will only exacerbate any problems with carpel tunnel I'm already facing. Returning for this reason. Mouse is also really tall, meaning you either have to fully pull your arm away or awkwardly glide your hand over it to reach back to the keyboard. Kind of cumbersome to use.
