Signature Starter Stick

It’s a great product, but I had to change they head to a different stick. The stick was not very strong but it had a very nice weight to it.

I coach 8u lacrosse and this stick is perfect for lil scoopers! It’s a full size head with a skinny shaft that is perfect for small hands. The kids catch and throw much better with a light shaft that fits in their hands. While this stick is great for learning the basics of catching, throwing, scooping and shooting it will definitely not hold up to checking. It is designed for kids 4-7 years old. If your kids are older than 7 this is not the stick for them.

I wasn't expecting the shaft to be plastic. This stick is light and the shaft is smaller in diameter and length, which is better for a young player but the plastic shaft has a large amount of deflection making it hard to throw the ball. I also have concerns with the shaft snapping during game play with all the slashing that goes on in a lacrosse game. If your doing more than just playing around in the backyard then I would recommend a youth stick that has a metal shaft. Also note this is a boys stick. Girls sticks (heads) are different, so they shouldn't be learning how to play with a boys stick. I am a youth lacrosse coach and figured I would pick this up to use with our young players but instead I am using it to play catch with my dog. It works great for that.

This stick is perfect for a beginner. I highly recommend it if you don't want to buy an expensive one for your child because you don't know if it's something they will like or will stick with. It is lightweight and worked well for my kindergartner when he attended a one-day lacrosse camp. This stick is inexpensive compared to most, making it a good value for a beginner. My son competed with it at the camp and even won some skills competitions with it. Other kids had higher-end more expensive sticks but it didn't make a difference in terms of the performance at this camp. I assume it won't hold us as well as the more expensive sticks, but for a beginner, I highly recommend this!

The 28" stick is perfect for my 7 year old grandson. It's light weight and is nicely made. It's a good introduction to lacrosse...its not a a toy but it's also not an official metal stick.
