I used this to replace the door lock actuator on the front passenger side of my 08 silverado as the old one was failing to detect that the door was closed. It fit and works perfectly, can definitely feel a better difference in closing, opening, and snuggness of holding the door shut.Important - make sure to keep your old pull wire as this does not come with one.

Great replacement for my 2008 Silverado HD that the door lock/unlock function stopped working. Unfortunately, I've noticed that these aftermarket actuators don't last as long as factory originals. (replaced this one before about 4 years ago with an aftermarket one) But for the price, you can't go wrong! One thing after you've installed it, make sure the door catch lever on the actuator is in the right position before you shut the door. I will update as time goes by to see how long this one lasts.
