I sense at all that you can buy romex at Amazon or EBAY for less than it costs in a local big box...what makes less sense is when you drive to the big box store and they are out of stock on the length or size of wire that you need. And if you are like me and the nearest big box store is a 30 minute drive, then you just quit worrying about and order online. As to this product, southwire makes great romex. I have only had bad romex once when I bought a generic product that was most likely was imported.
