**Q: Is this stuff heat resistant?**
A: I'm sure it can withstand any household pipe such as hot water or heating OK. My use was for drain pipe leakage which would/could be almost as hot as hot water pipe and it was fine. Only pipping that would be hotter would be heating, and that is limited to 180 degrees which I think the tape should endure.

**Q: Can the tape be removed if I want to replace the p-trap at a later time, or is it permanent?**
A: Yes. It can be easily removed with a utility knife or scissors.

**Q: What might work better (without replacing the pipe)? Minor leak in the assembly where pipe connects to bathtub under house. Do some epoxies work?**
A: This is only intended to be a temporary repair to prevent or slow further leak damage. I would quickly patch this tape until it is convenient to have a plumber or yourself fix with replacement parts. Good luck!
