This case accomplishes both tasks. It attaches to the magnet strongly, and the wireless charging is as expected.Where it could be better and hence why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5, as some other reviewers stated, is that the case is very thin and has no edges. I am worried that if I drop my phone, it will not do much in terms of protection. It is also slippery and I worry about dropping the phone if I am not careful. I have not yet has issues with the case paint chipping, but that may come as it gets used more.Overall, I am happy with this purchase since it does what I needed it to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice thin case but... *by S***C on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 18, 2020* Purchased it end of May/19 and it is a nice, good case for the Iphone X. It is slim, not slippery and the magnet is strong for car mount. Keep in mind that the magnet is not center so if you stick it in the holder horizontally, it may droop down on one side.The durability is not as good as I have cracks around the corner and like many reviews here, my power button felt off. I rarely manually turned off the phone and usually just flipped it face down to put it to sleep so didn't really use the button much. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars and seems a good trade-off to not make the case too bulky but ... *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 22, 2018* I just received this case, so long-term I cannot say how it'll hold up, but I'd spent hours looking through cases to settle on this one. It seemed closest to what I wanted: a built-in metal plate and not too bulky. It wasn't 100% clear to me that the case front would extend higher than the glass, so until I got it, I was apprehensive. It does, and seems a good trade-off to not make the case too bulky but to keep the glass off the surface when placed face down. The magnetic plate holds nicely to my car magnetic holder. The back is about perfect height to keep the camera bump off the surface. If I were to design the case, it'd be nearly this exact design (I wouldn't have included the circle to show the apple logo). The case has a reasonable amount of grip to it. I've had a case with a bit more grip, but it wore horribly.
