The approximation of 1 tablet = 1 sugarcube sounds about right in terms of the resulting sweetness and I cannot detect any undesirable residual flavours. So I'm happy with it. The only thing I've noticed it that if you're going to add milk to your hot drink, add the tablet to a bit of hot water or just the coffe/tea first because the sodium bicarbonate in the tablets results in a tiny bit of milk curdling.
