Small and Mighty! Value at this Price for EDC
I bought this for when I go on walks with my dogs at night and to have when I run late-night deliveries. This small light has exceeded my expectations for the price. I listed some pros and improvements if they make another generation. Pros -Removable rechargeable battery - It's great that the device has this, and it can be swapped at a moment's notice or charged day-to-day with no problems. From 0 to 100, It took about two hours! The battery also didn't run as hot when charging. -Added Clip - The provided clip is excellent for attaching to most items, and I found it very useful putting it on my hats at night. It is an easier way to have a light hands-free when needed. -Tactile Button - Unlike other lights in this price range, the button is tactile and rigid. You won't miss clicking this button, but you get a satisfying click when you want to turn it on! -Run Time - The quoted run time was correct at the middle level of brightness, which I took a picture of in my review for others to see. At that brightness, most will be happy for day-to-day use. -Lightweight - Flashlight is very lightweight; it will fit nicely into any EDC bag, purse, or backpack without taking up much room! If you're getting into EDC items or something affordable, this one is worth it! Improvement -More ways to attach it - Hopefully, in the future, they can make better clips or a smaller size so it can fit on keychains! -Sharper front end - As with most EDC lights, you would want the front to be more significant and pronounced to protect the lens and help with other specifics.

The perfect intersection of form, function and value.
I should start by saying, "I'm really picky about flashlights." My wife wants to put me in a 12-step program for obsessive flashlight buying. (This doesn't last long...I just ask her to step into our closet and I point to her shoe collection.) Anyway, I'm always looking for something small in size, large in lumens, and easy on the pocketbook. In order to find the perfect flashlight for the job, I have searched long and hard. Keep in mind, there's probably no flashlight made that would satisfy every need or situation. But if there is, the PIOOCAN L2 should come very, very close to it. First of all, 'brightness.' Not every situation calls for something with enough lumens to light a film studio. In fact, most of the situations I find myself in call for something not quite so...blinding. Also, realize, the brighter the light, the faster your battery will run down. The L2 is a perfect compromise on that front. Three levels of brightness, in an easy to use thumbswitch - double-click to go from dim/med/bright - and the levels are perfect for say, looking at directions in your car (too bright a light, and you'll be unable to adjust to see the road), looking around the room for where you left your glasses before bed (it happens) or searching the house because your wife heard 'a noise.' (Apparently, this is my job.) The supplied lanyard makes it easy to hook onto a nightstand or headboard. the hook lets you attach it to a shirt or pants pocket, or even affix it to the bill of a ball cap - mighty handy when you need to keep both hands free in the dark. The PIOOCAN L2 is rechargeable - but to do so, you have to remove the battery and plug it into a USB-C cable (supplied). I'm of two minds on this...it's an extra step to have to remove the battery to recharge it, but it's also going to be MUCH easier to keep it working should you drop it in a puddle or otherwise get it wet. What else? It's lightweight (solid aluminum body) and lightly crenelated bezzel make it an easy add for your every-day carry, especially when you're trying to 'go light.' All in all, it's a perfect choice for an EDC light, or anytime you need to see what you're doing, without calling in one of those howitzer flashlights that can double as a portable tanning booth.

Extremely bright for it’s tiny size
I work in an auto shop so I need a flashlight pretty often but carrying a bulky one isn’t great and I’m constantly on the move so having one clipped to my belt isn’t comfortable plus it runs the risk of scratching paint as I move around cars. THIS little beauty is super compact in the pocket, brighter than the sun, and easy to use because the brightness setting stays the same so you can simply click it on and off (you don’t have to cycle through all the brightness settings every time). It’s important to note that the rechargeable battery it comes with is 3.7 volts, not the 1.5 volts that most “AA” or “14500” batteries are. When you put a normal 1.5V battery in it, it works of course, but it’s nowhere near as bright. That said, the battery lasts me a couple days of reasonably heavy use, but I’m never nervous about it going dead because USB-C chargers are literally everywhere these days. Time will tell on how long it lasts, but it seems to be made well, the button is very tactile, so I feel like it will hold up for a long time even with nearly daily use. The only “negative” I can think of is that on the highest setting, it does get kinda hot pretty quickly. I only use it for 10-20 seconds at a time for the most part, but keep that in mind if you plan to use it for extended periods and you need to illuminate the moon during the day. It doesn’t get hot on the first and second brightness settings though. If you need a compact and super bright light that is rechargeable, this is the one for you! Thank me later!

A Great EDC Flashlight
I absolutely love this little flashlight. I've owned this flashlight for about 2-3 months and work nights so it's definitely pretty used by myself. Definitely my EDC flashlight. I've even decided to buy another one to have mounted to my home defense shotgun. There are 3 downsides I found about this little piece of gear. One, the battery life isn't very good but considering it flashes up to 1200 lumens I'm not too surprised about it. The battery that comes rechargeable and it's not hard to find a similar product on Amazon that sells rechargeable batteries. Two, the paint is already scratching off. I keep this in my pocket everyday and the paint I can tell will not last very long but it's not too much of a problem to me personally. Three, the double sided clip catches onto a lot of random things if you keep it clipped to your pocket often. Eventually you will need to bend the clip back into place to where it clips nice and tug. But a pair of pliers should do the trick. Not too much of an issue. The flashlight itself works absolutely fine and as advertised. Definitely a well invested purchase. Well enough for me to want another one.

Great flashlight
These flashlights are great. I have bought 6 of them and use them in all kinds of situations. They use a AA battery or you can charge them. Great size and very bright on the bright setting. It does have a dim setting too.

Little Beast of a Light... Bright & Tough Little Bugger
This is my favorite light at the moment. I've bought 2... First one, the clip broke, but I'm a plumber and it goes everywhere I go and some places I can't....So, I'm really, really hard on them, and they (clips) still last waaaay longer than I expected. Waterproof as much as it can be I personally think. I already said I was a plumber, so I'm not exaggerating to say it's survived mud, grout and grit, dirt, water, high drops from ladders, drops on concrete, etc. The only improvement I can even think of would be a battery 🪫 🔋 indicator light. The Remove battery to charge is a bonus (although I didn't like it at first) because you can buy extra rechargeable AA's and even regular AA batteries since they're everywhere- definitely handy in a pinch...But, without the indicator light, you'll probably want to keep a spare battery of some sort because it doesn't dim hardly at all before it dies...I really like this light- and the brightness is legit impressive

Cool light, expensive battery replacement
UPDATE: After maybe 4 months the switch will start to get goofy where it doesn't stay on. This is common with all button lights from the arching on the switch. If you know how to remove the switch you can clean the contacts with fine sand paper. (I haven't tried yet so I just put up with it for now...) The biggest reason for the update is to say how great the seals are! I've accidentally forgot it in my pants pocket 2 or 3 times now only to find it in the drier bumped on after a FULL wash (40min) amd dry (1hr 20min) cycle!!!! This thing holds up great to the accidental abuse of this light. I do occasionally add petroleum jelly to the o-ring seal to keep ot from drying out.....especially after I find it in the drier after the wet and high temp. I don't recommend you wash your light in this manner. However, if you do forget it the light will probably be just fine if the seals aren't damaged. Pros: Bright, light weight, decent battery life Cons: pocket clip quality, can be accidentally turned on in pocket while working, battery is unique to replace and cost is a bit pricey Clip will snap within a week or two of daily wear. Flashlight is great for the price though. It definitely has more of a spot beam. I'd say it's 80/20 spot/flood intensity. That said......it won't light up super well 75yrds away. However something 50 yards away will be pretty well illuminated the complete darkness. Something to consider is the battery. It's 3.7V double A size. So when that battery eventually dies it's a bit pricy to replace. (~2x$10USD) If you use a standard AA battery (1.5V) it works but is a good but less intense. When the battery dies on mine I'll likely buy a new battery @ 3.7V or get a new cheap flashlight. The 1.5 AA battery is very disappointing after getting use to the 3.7V brightness. Lol. It will get warm when left on. It won't start a fire but will feel nice and warm if you hold it.

Pioocan L2 Is An Excellent Little Thrower
BLUF - The Pioocan L2 is a very strong pocket thrower. I chose the orange color, which looks terrific. The orange contrasts very well with the black clip and black tail switch. The L2 uses the Cree P8 emitter in 6500k tint (very cool). The light comes with a 1 year warranty. The light is rated IPX6 for waterproof. The L2 is somewhat larger then other 14500 (battery size) lights that I have but I like that because it fits my hand better. It comes with a single 750mAh rechargeable 14500 lithium ion battery that has a USB-C charging port built in. This battery has less capacity then my other 14500 batteries, but that is probably because it has the built-in charging circuit, which takes up room. You can charge the battery using a USB cord or charge it in a conventional Lithium ion battery charger. I also tried out several other batteries and they all work - flat top and button top 14500 Vapcell F12 (1250mAh) and H10 (1000mAh), also non-rechargeable alkaline AA, rechargeable 1.2v NiMh AA, and rechargeable 1.5v AAs. Vapcell 14500s are known to be a little longer then other 14500 brands so if they fit, then just about any other Liion brand should also fit. There is no exterior charging port, which will definitely aid water resistance. All of the other batteries I mentioned (except the non-rechargeable alkaline AA) will need to be charged in a stand-alone battery charger. The L2 uses an aluminum alloy for all exterior metal components. The removable tail cap uses one o-ring for water resistance. The lens end cannot be removed. The light comes with a two-way pocket clip which is attached very firmly to the tube of the L2. Also included are a lanyard, two spare o-rings and a short charging cable (USB-A to C). A USB-C to C cable will also work. I would suggest lightly lubing the tail cap threads before use. Also, make sure to remove the small battery insulator. The large rubber switch on the tail cap is very easy to find in the dark and has a nice, firm click. The rubber switch protrudes beyond the edge of the metal tail cap so it will not tail-stand. Turn On/Off the light with a single full click. This light has a simple operating system with 3 light levels plus strobe. From On - half clicks will continuously cycle thru Low, Medium, and High. It does have memory for those three modes. When the light is On, do a double half-click for strobe. When the light is Off, do three quick FULL clicks for Strobe. One click to turn Off. Pioocan claims the L2 has 1200 lumens with a claimed throw of 115 meters and I believe it. This is a real thrower with good spill. It is extremely bright and throws farther then most of my other 14500 lights, yet has decent spill. This is very impressive, especially considering the low price. The light will get pretty warm if operated in High mode for very long but this is normal for all small lights that use a Liion battery and an LED emitter. Heat is generated when changing battery power into extreme bright light and these small lights just can't dissipate that heat very quickly. So best to step down to Medium when you feel it getting hot. There are plenty of 'pros' for this light and only one real 'con', in my opinion. The battery capacity is a little low. Something closer to 900/1000mAh would be appreciated. The Pioocan L2 turned out to be better then I thought it would be. If you are looking for a pocket thrower, seriously consider the L2. I consider it to be a very good value.
