NIV, Super Giant Print Reference Bible (Font Size: 16.5-point), Leathersoft, Pink, Red Letter, Comfort Print

This Bible is so lovely. I am very happy I purchased it. The type is indeed super giant. I can read it from a long distance, not to mention not having to get out a magnifying glass and still be having difficulty. I love the comfort type, which I think must mean a somewhat bold type. I have comfort type in another Bible that is a smaller point and that is the similarity I am seeing. Comparing a 12 point type and a 12 point comfort type, the boldness of the print appears to be the difference to me. I also love that the pages do not glare and are thicker than the slimline editions and my study Bibles, both of which I must be careful with when marking or making notes. I do not consider it overly large or heavy. Definitely larger and heavier than my slimlines but nothing compared to my study Bibles. This Bible does not have gilded edges which makes me happy because they do not stick together. The gilding always wears off of mine anyway. I purchased this Bible just for reading. To be able to sit down and be able to just read with ease. It is not meant to be a study Bible, there are no bells and whistles other than some references, a dictionary concordance and a table of weights and measures. It is exactly what I wanted it for except for one disappointment, no ribbon marker. Since this is what I use for "reading through" the Bible, a ribbon marker is most wanted. I am using a bookmark, which have a tendency to get misplaced or fall out, while trying to decide if there is a way for me to put a ribbon in without harming it. This is actually the only Bible I have ever purchased that did not have a ribbon so I didn't think to check if it did. I'm usually busy making sure the ones I purchase are red letter editions, which I also love, and this one is. I will say the "leathersoft" isn't as soft as leather but I am hoping it will soften and feel more leather like in time. I would have liked to have rated this 4.5 stars because of the ribbon factor, but have given it 5 stars because it deserves more than 4. It is pure pleasure to read and I hope this is the one that I will be able to see the rest of my life.

The media could not be loaded. Love it! Beautful! Giant print! Huge help for my eyes. I wish I knew about the giant print long time ago. My eyes feels better while reading and I don't feel headaches. God is good!

This is such a nice Bible! The cover is soft and the print is seriously giant! I think you could read it across the room. The pages are a little thicker too, which I love.

Large print makes it easier to read. Pages are very thin, handle with care. The references included are very helpful. Beautiful Bible.

I love this Bible. It is easy to understand in today's world of language we have lost the meaning in formal King James version and many need a scholar to interpret what is being said in scriptures. This helps make it clearer. I feel I can read my Bible in the morning and apply it every day without having to wait for it to be translated to layman terms. I have the large print and enjoy reading it.

Beautiful Bible with large text print. Not too heavy, but larger than a personal size Bible.
