One of the best. The 2016 remake was pretty good, the newest one I found barely watchable. But this one, the original, is excellent and well worth the money. Its only unfortunate that this edition does not come with the extra items as the steelbook, but its the discs and episodes that matter at the end of the day and these do not disappoint. Japanese original language, with English subtitles is the way to go, always. This complete set has every episode, English and Japanese, and a whole bunch of extras. Discotek even went the extra mile to translate the Japanese extras like the interviews! The picture quality is beautiful, too. There are only two or three shots in the entire series that have been replaced with old DVD or Laserdisc footage but they're short and might not be noticeable during the first watch. It might have been like that on older sets from other countries. Regardless, it's a great purchase. If you're new to the series like I was, watch about five episodes online, then decide for yourself whether to buy this. It's worth it. But then read the manga after that.
