Low Profile Thin Drip Tray Compatible with Gaggia Classic Pro

Fits perfectly. Way better than the original tray. Scale and cup fit under the portafilter with no problem. Nicely made. Tube fits just fine. Not quite as heavy gauge as the original but serves its purpose.

I went ahead and reordered the drip tray, and this time it arrived exactly as expected. The drip tray itself is perfect—sleek, durable, and fits seamlessly into my setup. The tray fits the Gaggia Classic Pro perfectly, however the metal tube is of thinner material compared to the original one and it wobbles around; but it works OK. Overall, it is good purchase and it is fitting well.

Perfect fit, size and quality

It fits perfectly with my espresso machine. The original tray is too tall if you want to weigh your espresso shots. The low profile tray allows me to get a thin scale underneath the cup so I get more consistent coffee extraction.

This one fits like an OEM one and doesn't rattle around. The part feels substantial as well.

Works perfectly and looks great. My only regret is not getting it sooner and that it was slightly less costly… Before this I was using a shot glass under the drain tube, and balancing a scale on the stainless frame of the machine. which worked but looked ugly, the scale never sat quite flush and just generally it’s not nice to have a premium appliance and then rig it like that… With this tray you can use most regular mugs or, like me, a 120 ml cappuccino / demitasse cup together with almost any espresso scale. It makes dialing in shots so much easier and honestly more fun for everything to just be tidy! The original Gaggia stainless insert drops right into place into this plastic tray, and together blends in as if it were an original Gaggia part. Honestly, Gaggia should be making their drip trays just like this from the factory.

I was a little apprehensive to purchase this tray because it said it wouldn't work on any of the older models. I had purchased the Gaggia Classic 14101 from Amazon back in March of 2014. I figured what the heck, if it doesn't fit I'll just return it. I'm here to tell the owners of the older models that this tray fit in beautifully, although it didn't fit flush with the front of the metal tray like the original did (see photo) but it wasn't a concern for me. Also, the vent tube didn't fit as snug as the original, it hasn't fallen out yet, so we will see how that goes in time. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this to all owners of the older Gaggia Classic Espresso Machines.

Das perfekte Teil für meine Gaggia. Endlich passen größere Tassen darunter. Die Qualität ist vergleichbar mit dem Original. Es wird auch ein längeres Rohr mitgeliefert. Das Rohr selbst sitzt nicht so streng wie das Original, aber es ist dicht. Tut meiner Freude nichts an.

A must have for Gaggia owners who just want to shove a standard mug under the portafilter and get the coffee in their face ASAP. Just as good as original tray - looks like it's always been there/part of original machine, easy to clean, but as it's shallower you just need to empty a bit more often...which is a good thing anyway.
