Boundless: A wayward entrepreneur's search for peace

I loved this book! It's diffinitely a page turner. The author invites you into his world with such vulnerability and candid humour that is hard to resist. Rarely is there a book with so many components rolled into one. Epic story line, self help, love, purpose, wealth... Ultimately, for me, this book is like a coin. A fascinating outer journey on one side, and on the other, a deep tangible quest for love, peace & purpose that has the power to stir those inner most questions that lie within most of us... A very enjoyable and powerful read!!!

In reading Boundless I was carried along on a rollercoaster of ever increasing anxiety about where Greg was heading and, if he ever got there, what other calamity was about to emerge in his fast disintegrating life. Putting the book down , once started , was not unlike what one was reading - near impossible. But the impossible, in the end, lead to an amazing life choice, via twists and turns and a dash of good luck. I couldn't get "Boundless" out of my head for weeks.

This book is a fast paced honest account of one man’s journey to find happiness and peace. ‘Living in the now’ has become such a cliché, but Greg finds a way to do it and is sharing it with the world. He’s even offering video tips and clues on his website [...] I'd recommend this book to anyone whose desire is to live in endless peace, contentment and happiness - in this lifetime. Profound change is possible and available to anyone.

The first thing I loved about this book is how down to earth and real it is. This book is full of the raw experience of living, mixed with a great sense of humour; I really enjoyed reading this book. Greg takes you on the adventure of his life and at the end gives us all an opportunity to walk towards a more fulfilling life, a life where true peace and fulfilment are not separate from a dynamic life purpose. love it!

I'm giving Gregg a two star as this is ultimately (in my opinion - and I practice meditation) to lead you to his boundless website (p 253 subtly woven through this book are clues to live a happier, more peaceful and content life.......you can expand upon these clues by going to www.makegregricher.com.....joke) and to book weekend meditation courses (@ NZ $375 with no accomodation or food) to make him or his none religious 'monks' some cash. At no point does he indicate any of the simple techniques one can use to gain meditation experience and what he states he wants to share with the reader and others! The book is also a tale of two halves .......well 211 pages against 33 actually!!!!! as the latter part is about 'revealing happiness' where the first part is about his life, mainly as a businessman in Russia - relatively interesting - but then you find out on the acknowledgement page (p255) that the characters are 'composite people' (read 'not real') and amalgamations of 'many friends and colleagues'!! .......erm in my book that's how a fiction writer creates their novel. So it's made you a bit of a celebrity Greg (something you say your ego no longer needs) and your intention is to 'spread the word' to meditate or 'Ascend' as you like to call it (but not free of course!!). This book should have been two books - one in the fiction section and the other as an ebook or kindle only. So for anyone wanting to learn to meditate - try 'Meditation for Beginners - 22 day course' by Vern Lovic (£2.04 for Kindle edition) and his website ......I have no relation/ involvement other than I have read and seen his work) - but you too can learn to be happy and live a content life etc through this avenue. Oh and on P240, Gregg actually explains he decides to write the book after his $60,000 marketing campaign to create a meditation company 'Nowspace - meditation for a sweeter life' crashes .....enough said.....I rest my case M'Lord!

What an inspiring, alive, exciting book. I highly recommend anyone with a heart beat to read this magnificent piece of work. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire book. Thank you very much for sharing these words. :)

I just finished reading a copy of Boundless. Wow! What a great read. Intense, inspiring, fascinating and lively, with a powerful message that really touched me. Greg Hopkinson you did a brilliant job writing that book, thanks a million. To read about someone's journey from stressed out "wayward" disaster zone, and to hear how they found peace and happiness, despite themselves, is a pleasure and inspiring for me. I thoroughly recommend this book!.

Boundless is of immense practical value for those searching for more in life, be it more peace, contentment or fulfilment. It completely de-mystifies what it means to be 'spiritual', that you can change your life no matter where you've come from. The writing is clear and succinct and is punctuated with pearls of wisdom. It's also p*ss funny; I found myself laughing out-loud at the sheer ludicrousness and intensity of events that led the writer to seek more peace in a clearly very rich and colourful life. Fantastic read, very compelling, couldn't put it down.
