I do not wear mascara very often, so this one works really well for me. I wanted something inexpensive that would get the job done when I need it, without feeling like I wasted money if I only use it a few times before it starts drying out. What I like: • Very inexpensive • Great value for the price • Works well for occasional use • Gets the job done • Nice option if you do not wear mascara every day • Easy to replace when it starts drying out • Not a big investment • Goes on well enough for my needs • Comes off for me with makeup removing wipes • Good basic mascara to keep on hand • Nice if you only need mascara a few times a year • Fair price for what it is Things to be aware of: • This is not professional-quality or high-end makeup • I would keep expectations realistic at this price point • Like other mascaras I have used, it eventually starts to dry out • It can get clumpy once it starts getting older • If you wear mascara every day, you may have stronger preferences than I do • For me, the low price makes it easy to replace when needed Overall: This mascara works well for me because I only wear mascara occasionally. I do not need an expensive or professional-level product for the few times a year I use it. At this price point, I am happy with how it performs. Like other mascaras I have used, it does eventually start drying out and getting clumpy. The difference is that this one is inexpensive enough that I do not feel bad replacing it when that happens. It gets the job done, comes off for me with makeup removing wipes, and is a very fair value for the price. For someone like me who does not wear mascara often but wants something affordable to keep on hand, this is a great option.

My favorite mascara for years I’ve been using this Essence mascara for years, and it’s still one of my favorites. It makes my lashes look really beautiful and gives them a nice, defined appearance without needing too many coats. I also love that it’s affordable, especially considering how well it performs. The formula works really well for my everyday makeup routine and helps make my lashes look fuller and more noticeable. The only downside for me is that it comes off quite easily. While that makes it very easy to remove at the end of the day, it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for a very long-lasting or waterproof mascara. Overall, I keep coming back to it because I love the way it makes my lashes look, and the price is hard to beat. Definitely a great budget-friendly mascara for everyday use.

This mascara is awesome. I love the brown color. Makes my lashes look nice and long. Lasts all day, washes off easily with soap and water, eye make up remover, etc. I go about 3-4 swipes on each eye top and bottom and it really makes my lashes pop. The 4 stars is because when you put the wand back in the tube and twist it close, you get a blob of wasted mascara all over the wand. See picture. For the money, great mascara.

Works as well as everyone’s favorite Borghese mascara from the 90s. Since they don’t seem to make that anymore I’ve been using Maybelline green and pink or lately L’Oréal’s A Big Deal. Today is the first day I used this and I’m sold. The mascara glides on so smoothly and the wand gets close to my lash line. The price can’t be beat either!

You should know I am a makeup snob, and I love this product! I normally buy $30 dollar Tarte brown mascara. Need to save money. For only $4.95 this product is worth it!! See photo: left pic is my old mascara ($30 bucks tarte brand color brown) right pic is this new mascara. Pros: -Bold big lashes. As you can see from the photo this product makes your lashes big. - Nice color. The brown is darker brown than I usually go for. I usually go for a natural looking medium brown shade. - Cost: the price is so good!! Only $5 bucks. So very worth it. - Buildable. You can keep adding more product for an enhanced effect. Cons: - Smudges. Little chunkies might fall onto your face and you will have to clean it up a little. It’s not enough of a problem for me to say it’s not worth it. I think it smudges more with me because I wear a lot of oily creams. - Makes my eye water if I get in my eye. My old mascara did not do this. - Chunkier than my old mascara but this mascara makes my eyelashes look way bigger so it’s a good trade off. - If you are going for a natural understated look this is not the product for you. It is bold. - More difficult to remove than my old mascara but it certainly isn’t the most difficult kind to remove. I have used mascaras that are much more difficult to remove than this one.

Lengthens, stays on. Doesnt smudge. Doesnt irratiate eyes or skin. Not any perfume or unpleasant smell. Sometimes it can flake a bit, especially if you really coat it on. The black is black which is nice. Does hold up to water, tears etc well but also washed off easy. I like that my eyelashes stay healthy. I have used several of essence mascara brand types and the lash princess is the best! The other essence brand types like the tubing and other types sucks so just buy the lash princess one. Oh, and it does seem to run out sooner but its only like 5$ so that's not a big deal when it works so well.

This mascara is seriously impressive! The essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara gives my lashes incredible volume and length while creating a dramatic, fuller look without needing false lashes. The black formula is rich and makes my eyes really stand out. The brush separates my lashes nicely and helps build volume without making them look clumpy. I love that I can apply one coat for a natural everyday look or add a few more layers for a more bold, glamorous effect. It wears well throughout the day and has become one of my favorite mascaras because it delivers results that compare to much more expensive brands. The value is unbeatable, and I will definitely keep repurchasing. Highly recommend if you want long, voluminous lashes at an affordable price!

This is my absolute favorite mascara of all time and out of their line. It doesn't flake off like the pink one does. It comes off with oil. It builds beautifully, especially by the third coat. Work quickly with it. It's best when it's a couple of weeks old and has had time to thicken; you could leave it cracked overnight for a day or so to quicken the process. When I'm done, I run the Telescopic mascara wand through it, but you can use any fine mascara wand that lengthens. It's the absolute perfect combination. I have medium-long lashes, and it makes them look super long. You can overdo it and make them spidery if that's what you want, but the Telescopic wand fixes that, as long as you do it before it dries. Some say this bleeds a tiny bit while sweating, and that's true that you might want to check it after a couple of hours if you've been sweating or outside, but it's usually not a problem for me. It's not a lot of product that bleeds when sweating, just a bit of grey if anything. This has a superb EWG rating, meaning it's not toxic and is very safe.

Honnêtement j'avais un peu peur que la brosse ne fasse des paquets mais pas du tout ! La couleur est très belle, on la voit légèrement mais assez bien en même temps.

Essence fait parti des meilleures rapports qualité prix pour moi. Une belle marque avec des produits parfois plus sains que d'autres marques plus chère et des produits de qualité. Leur mascara ont toujours été plus qu’efficaces ! Et la couleur parfaite !
