(I just didn't want strangers creating (or even modifying) copy on my site. I guess maybe I'm a control freak.) I only wish that I had read this book before setting up my websites. Now it looks like I have to tear it down & start from scratch. And even though JM does his level best to make this fun & "1-2-3" easy, I still don't know that I can implement most of his teachings. Wonder what it would cost to hire him to do it! So in the end, I guess it's not so much about "don't out-source your SEO," it's more "make sure the folks putting together your website understand (& use) this stuff!"

I bought this book summer of 24 but just got around to reading it. Fantastic book, easy to read and understand. I have already implemented some items and am starting to see better website numbers. Can’t wait to implement more suggestions from the book. I own his two other books too and can’t wait to read!

I started with the Audible version and I've listened once and getting ready for repeat. There's so much outstanding info in the book. The author also makes the read surprisingly entertaining while staying on course explaining an arduous process that is SEO. His humor makes it so much more digestible. Additionally, I have to commend the step by step processes that the author explains. I'm very impressed and excited to see how implementing new things learned will play out in the real world. I'm confident that they will because there are many suggestions made by this author that I previously learned to be very effective. If you want to rank organically for anything get Jason McDonald's book and study it.

I would recommend this book to anyone trying to get their toes wet in the world of SEO and Digital marketing. The Author also provides books on resources which I found highly useful and recommend getting it with this book. As far as I understand you can get those books for free. But I like supporting Entrepreneurs as much as possible and just bought the books. I just would have liked to have seen more on ranking for PLP and PDP pages.

BTW, Dr. McDonald offers other "how to" books for online sellers, including one on social media advertising, which will be my next challenge after completing the SEO of my website. As a complete novice, I was blown away by this book. Other books have failed to explain SEO the way this one does. I usually blow through these kinds of books in an afternoon, but not this one: it took over a week and I came away with such a thorough understanding that I have no doubt I can master this now. I also came away armed with completed worksheets and lists to begin my SEO journey. To the author: thank you. This book is invaluable to newbies like me. My copy now has a cracked spine, it's full of highlighter marks, and it's been read cover to cover. I couldn't be more grateful. I have no doubt I will continue to reference it over and over again.

Absolutely NO Help at all

I absolutely love this book. It is easy to follow along and I am able to implement each action item and deliverable. This is a must read for anyone who needs to either do SEO themselves or who plan to hire an SEO agency.

I originally downloaded the audio book, found it informative and enjoyable so bought the book as reference and to complete the tasks set. I really liked the way it broke down a large topic into manageable steps and I enjoyed the humour within the book too. Would definitely recommend and will be using my newfound knowledge to help with my own website building and SEO. It is useful to have the book to keep referring back to when focusing on different aspects.
