Works as expected. The shorter length is handy, the braided finish feels durable. Connects reliably with old hard drive that we had laying around. No connection issues so far and good value for the price.

This cable is very well-made, looks robust and the end connectors are well formed and connect positively. I use it to connect an AppleMacBook to an external hard drive. It is now part of my miobile office!

I needed a sturdy good quality durable cable for my work so I purchased this based on the brand name and fact it had a braided cable with gold plated connectors. The cable works as well as expected. Some people complain about the length but I didn't want a cable taking up desk space so the length was perfectly fine to me. If you a drive etc sitting at a distance you might want to check the length before purchasing.
