Every so often, you buy a gadget expecting it to be "ok." Then it arrives, quietly exceeds every expectation, and suddenly earns a permanent place in your camera bag. This Syncwire phone mount has done exactly that. I bought it to mount my phone to my Canon R7 so I could capture behind-the-scenes video perfectly aligned with whatever I'm photographing. It's transformed the way I create content, allowing me to record smooth, engaging footage alongside my stills without needing an extra pair of hands — or an obliging octopus. For something costing less than £9, the build quality is remarkably reassuring. It feels sturdy, well-made and capable of surviving far more than the gentle life I've planned for it. There's no creaking, flexing or feeling that it'll surrender the moment you tighten it. It simply grips the phone securely and gets on with the job. The 360° rotation and 180° tilt make framing shots incredibly easy, whether you're filming in landscape or portrait. This is a reasonably good and flexible mount - it does the job - the only thing i do not love is how hard it is to take the phone out again without dropping the phone - as in you need to hands to prize it open.

Excellent. Bought so I can mount my Pixel 10 pro, alongside my Osmo Action 6, to use the phones bigger screen as a live shot view, and it works perfectly. The two cold shoe mounting positions on the holder, are a huge bonus, especially as they rotate. Nice and sturdy, versatile, easy to set up, nice and stable a really great addition to my camera and phone set up.

This is one of those products that is ridiculously simple, cheap and suprisingly practical. I use it every day. I'm not an influencer or anything, I bought it in the pursuit of general laziness, just to live on a simple tripod, so I can watch TV laying down on my phone. It has come with me on various holidays so we can take photos on a timer. Although I do more frequently use DSLR anyway. It's easily moveable on the tripod, the angle can be changed easily, it has a simple spring action locking mechanism to device and has the ability to take flashes / microphones / anything with a hot shoe. It's very well designed, has everything it needs, nothing it doesn't.

I hate the phone mounts on the tripods I've got - I have a ROBUST phone that is thick and heavy, waterproof and indestructable. That means that flimsy mounts can't cope and it has pinged out more than once. This mount promised a width of 3.7" which just fits and the little arms are deep enough to hold the phone securely. It has a tight grip which is a bonus. I used it with the Huawei P20 Pro to do some outside filming today and it worked like a dream. They are now permanently paired (FAR superior Leica camera!) and I am delighted.

It's just okay. It feels solid enough and holds the phone securely, but the spring mechanism makes it awkward to remove the phone, often forcing you to press side buttons to get it out. The main flaw is that the mechanism to adjust the tilt is really poor. If you try to achieve a specific angle, it will often force itself into a different angle as you're tightening it. Or, you tighten it up, let it go, and it moves. It really doesn't work well.

Non l’ho ancora testato bene ma sembra solido e ben fatto. Il telefono si aggancia perfettamente e la molla lo tiene ben saldo. É possibile ruotare il telefono di 360 gradi. L’unica cosa che avrei preferito fosse diversa é la parte in basso che permette l’inclinazione. Ha degli scatti pre-impostati e non posso inclinarlo di pochissimo perchè non è possibile stringerlo. Si avvita perfettamente alla piastra di un treppiede e si aggancia perfettamente sopra una fotocamera.
