This blade guard pack is an excellent replacement for worn guards that no longer adhere to the cutting blade head. Four stars because it is not quite perfect. You may notice a fair amount of resistance when switching out blades on your trimmer. It will snap on; it just takes a little more effort.

The bottom leg of the "T" part of this guard is too short (maybe .5-1 mm) to snap into the slot on the Wahl five star detailer so that it can be retained properly. Instead it rests on the bottom edge of the outer blade and pops off fairly easily. Nice that you get two sets here, but I recommend you stick with the red blade guards from Wahl if you want them to clip on securely.

Works really well. Worth the buy.

fits the trimmer but it doesn’t have screw recess to fully sit on there correctly. It does work and originals aren’t available so this is your only option

These types of replacement combs/guards are hard to find. The quality is definitely chinesium (which is probably why you get 2 sets of 3), however it gets 5 stars for actually fitting the trimmer properly.

Despite what is advertised on Amazon, there are 2 guides in each of the three sizes (1/2, 1, 1 1/2). No idea why you need two if each - I was expecting the other sizes as advertised. Very disappointed.

Check the model number that you are ordering for. This set fit my razor perfectly.

I compared these new black trimmer clips with the original red trimmer clips. Black #1 clip is not the same length as the original red #1 clip. It is not identical at all. Poor product.

Did not fit my trimmer as suggested.
