each of the four have a different size opening. probably between 1/4 and 1/2 inch from smallest to largest.

I haven't tried pouring the items you specified. I think the peppercorns would fit if poured slowly. I'm not sere about rock salt- depends on the size of the granules you use. I think most would pour through the funnel. Nice space saving funnels. though.
