Klein Tools 32933 7-in-1 Impact Driver, SAE Impact Rated Socket Set, 5-Inch

This one of those " why didn't I think of that?" tools. 6 different socket sizes in 3 sockets that nest together. You can arrange them on the stem in any order. Works great in HVAC situations where you sometimes need 3 different sizes. Fits most 1/4 inch quick connect drivers. Having them on the stem is huge if you're working on a ladder or in the grass. No dropped sockets to look for or retrieve. I don't have to carry a set of nut drivers anymore and dig around in the tool belt or pockets to find the right size. These are clearly marked and color coded by size. The 1/4 inch socket has a unique dual purpose feature that either drives nuts or pulls up to accommodate 1/4 inch bits for different style fasteners. Strong magnet holds fasteners in place . I should've bought the kit with the quick connect handle. That would make it perfect. I'll try to find just the handle for purchase. My collection of Klein tools is growing by the day.

If you have a job like mine where you need every bit and any size this will make your life easier because it is like carrying all those bits but in one set instead of all separate one. I use it everyday and it works wonderfully. Definitely recommend buying it fits in your pocket and it can be used with any drill.

First thing to realize: These fit 1/4" hex drive (IMPACT drive), NOT the typical square socket wrench. The rod they come on holds 6 common sizes (3 flip sockets) securely. The end of the rod has a magnet to securely hold the bolt you're working with. IMO this one and the metric version are absolute MUST-carries in any EDC. The design lets me store them conveniently in a couple elastic loops in my EDC bag. With a 1/4" hex drive mini ratchet (711L, Titan, or ICON) you're ready for most bolts you will encounter. Use the rod from one set as your ratchet handle and the other for the socket you're using. If you want/need to go short in a tighter spot, a standard 1/4 hex drive bit will work for driving. I'm sure knock-off versions of these will be showing up soon, but with these from Klein, you know you're getting good impact quality.

I don’t know much about them. My blue collar partner wanted these for a gift and has used the crap out of them. They must be durable because they’ve lasted.

ive had 3 of these now not because i loose them or the wear out but because they have failed in some aspect. The first one was not a big deal really but the retaining spring around the socket holding the ball in place had malfunctioned and now the socket free slides when storing on the shaft. this didn't occur till after having the tool for a decent amount of time and using it almost every day so i was satisfied enough to buy another even if that was a common failure point. On the second round within the first 2 weeks the retaining magnet on the end had shattered and was missing about half of the magnet leaving it holding fasteners very poorly. So far the third one has been good over the past month but im starting to not depend on this as my my impact socket set and more of a back up when i don't have the full set on me

Sick set. Very neat idea, and quite convenient.

Convenient, handy, functional. only issue is that it’s not insulated for electrical work but besides that it’s great and gets the job done
