Good for guitar playing nail maintenance
I got these because my soft, splitting nails have become an issue for my acoustic guitar playing. The "shape 1" pink side is a nice, rough sandpaper that is still like new after months of daily use. I understand that it's important to polish the nail to prevent snags, so I go through "Smooth 2", "Buff 3", and "Polish 4". I can't tell if they are doing anything, but apparently, they are progressively smoothing the nail. The block is a firm, spongy material that seems to work well and is comfortable to hold

Great Smaller Size Nail Buffers
I love these buffers. I used to buy longer and wider ones by a different brand, but I found them a bit awkward. These fit better in my hand and work really well. I don't have super long nails, so the width of these works great. I have natural nails, and apparently, these work on acrylic nails as well, although I am unsure why acrylic nails would need buffing. But what do I know? If I had one suggestion, I would prefer to have the print of the numbers indicating the grit be a little larger. The price for a set of 4 is a good value and the packaging is minimal, so I appreciate that over excess retail packaging that ends up in a landfill.

Pretty nails
Does a great job in smoothing out any hangnails, split nails, or buffing for shine when necessary.

They came just as they are described, and the four pack is nice. They have four sides to it with each side doing something different for your nails. I bought them for shinning my nails but I found the smoothing side to work well first them buff the shine.
