Excellent Wired Controller with Some Slight Annoyances
Pros: Feels good in the hands. Nice Mario styling. All buttons are responsive. The turbo feature is nice. Comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, so it connected instantly with my Switch console. I love double pressing the turbo button to pause the feature. Works with Switch Console and Switch Lite. Cons: The turbo button is flakey. Sometimes it doesn't activate. Sometimes it won't deactivate. The cable feels heavier than the built-in cables these units used to ship with. There's some stiffness, which gives slight resistance when using. I would have preferred the "baffle" be down at the Switch than up at the controller.

Solid controller for the Switch, some trade-offs.
For the price I paid ($18), it's very good. The buttons feel good for the most part (except for the d-pad, it's not great but still usable). Joysticks are fine. No rumble, motion controls or NFC, so for certain games you might want to use the joy-cons instead. And of course, the controller looks quite cool. The BEST thing about this controller is the paddles on the back. You can remap them quite easily, and they're super useful for jumping and running without taking your finger off the right joystick. It's a wired controller. The included cable is 10 feet, which might not be long enough for some situations, but 10 ft is a pretty long cable. The cable is detachable, so if you play pretty close to the switch or want to use the controller with an otg cable in tabletop mode (with a stand that allows for that), you can use a shorter cable. If you need to go farther than 10 ft, I suggest just getting a wireless controller, buying a longer cable is probably not worth it. With all of that said, if you already have a PS4 or Xbox One controller, I recommend getting an adapter that allows you to use those with Nintendo Switch instead (if you're okay with not having the paddles). The MAYFLASH and 8bitdo adapters are about the same price as this controller, but then you get to use a better controller.

Good controller. Bad design.
The controller is great and works as good if not better than a pro controller. However you won’t go 4 months without one of the buttons sticking, to the point of insanity. No way to fix it as it’s a problem with the design. I’ve done everything to clean out the controller. After buying an entirely new controller and running into the same problem with the same button, I’ve come to the conclusion that the engineering behind the buttons causes them to stick after too much usage. It’s horrible.

A solid budget alternative to the expensive Switch Pro controller.
I bought this back in April 2020, as I was after a decent controller for my Switch, but was hesitant to spend 60 bucks on that. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, honestly. I just wanted a quick and dirty solution to having a controller while gaming on my docked Switch. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised. First impressions were that while the build quality was thoroughly unremarkable, it wasn't *bad* by any stretch. It was what I expected for the price, and I am okay with that. The faceplate of the controller has a nice textured finish that feels quite good to grip with your hands. I have yet to use the other faceplate, but I really like the default one too much to bother to swap. The Zelda themed designs have shown essentially no signs of wear and tear over 7 months. In terms of performance and usability the controller is fine. No latency problems, the buttons feel clicky and responsive (they are loud so beware if you want/have to be quiet). The triggers and shoulder buttons have no analog input obviously, but they have a fairly nice feel and good tactile actuation. The joysticks work well enough, with no drift so far, with a good tactile response if pushed. A standout though are the two remappable paddle buttons on the underside of the controller. These are amazing, with very good tactile feel and response. You can map any button on the controller to these paddles via a dedicated button towards the bottom. There are instructions included in the box about how to do this (they are not very well translated, but it's serviceable). The cons are that there is absolutely no haptic feedback, or even a basic rumble function. Also there is no Amiibo support if you're into that, I am not so this is irrelevant for my use. The next con is that this controller *cannot* wake the Switch from sleep mode. Also no motion controls whatsoever. Finally the controller is VERY lightweight, which belies its average build quality and a possible "cheapo" feeling that one might get upon first use. This didn't bother me, but it's highly subjective. Honestly for the price I am satisfied with this controller and I definitely recommend it if you're on a budget.

This is probably my favorite controller.
Pros-- - This controller has -excellent- input. It's better than either SCUF I own, and is at least on par with an XBOX Elite controller as far as input goes. The sticks are super snappy and the button presses are very easy to confirm. - If you use it for more traditional games, it also has the best d-pad input I have had on a controller in years. PS4 controllers can be ambiguous when pressing up/down/left/right if you press too hard (it read's as a diagonal), but I haven't had that issue with this controller at all. - The buttons and sticks all feel very comfortable to use as well. - The programmable paddles on the back are wonderful and super easy to use, and the plate that acts as the paddles can be removed easily with no tools. They are almost too easy to press though (see below). - This controller works very well for Steam games using steam's controller software. You need to add the game to your steam library if it isn't a steam game, but then you can make customized button loadouts for each game. - Aesthetically, the controller is beautiful. The faceplates are better looking in real life than the pictures on Amazon can really show, and they don't impede the functionality of the controller at all. Some potential downsides for some people though. - First off, the buttons and sticks feel great, but they are loud for a controller. The material choices for the buttons and especially the sticks make a lot of noise when you are playing with the controller. This isn't that bad but it can be distracting or inconsiderate if people that live with you want some quiet. - Second, this is a feature-light controller. It is wired only, it has no audio ports, it has no rumble features, it has no motion control. It is -just- a controller. This will make it not work well or at all with some games. - Kind of related to the above, the controller is super light because it doesn't have a lot of the internals we associate with controllers in modern times. That bothers some people! - The paddle-style buttons on the back are super easy to press. Like, you will do it accidentally by grasping the controller tightly. They are wonderful for playing more relaxed games, but I map at least one of them to something useless when I play a fighting game or something else that will get me excited and grappling my controller. This is barely a negative because you can map the buttons to an unused input (like pressing in the sticks) or just remove the back plate that makes them buttons at all. - The controller comes with a 10 foot cable, but I would recommend buying your own just because modern fabric wrapped cables feel better and put up with abuse better than more old-school rubbery outsides. This is possibly just my preference, and is also barely a downside because it COMES with a 10 foot cable so you can still sit on your couch while you game. - On a switch, I haven't found a way to turn the console on with this controller. Like, once the console is active, it responds well and you can do anything a pro controller would do. But for some reason I can't wake the console out of sleep. So this cannot be your only controller, if it comes down to it! But the switch console does come with a joy con set. Overall, I think the pros of this controller massively outweigh the cons. I like to play fighting games competitively, so finding controllers that have very good input matters a lot to me. If you want a controller for just playing casual video games on your couch, this might not be the best controller because it is missing features the Pro has, and the lack of wireless is pretty big. But if you highly value smooth controls and accurate input, this is the best controller I've held in years. P.S. Also, I've owned this for almost a year and have used it often. The controller hasn't degraded at all.

Care to explain?
Ive been using this control for a while and it worked well up until now, if i knew this was going to happen i would have saved my money and buy some other control, not to mention the home button being way too close to the X button making it so you hit it on accident

D-Pad Down DOA
Bought the controller for the switch, it works more or less as expected, however the down d-pad input doesn't work. It isn't even recognized by the turbo button. It randomly started working after 10 minutes the first time I used it but has not worked again since I stopped playing. Otherwise, the controller is pretty light and the face buttons are huge, but those are both minor details. Probably a 3-4/5 at $20 if the d-pad worked properly. Can't speak to the longevity of the controller since mine didn't last a single session.

No audio jack
There is no headphone jack, unlike many similar products from the same manufacturer. I picked this one because of the sweet art, without realizing there was no aux output for headphones. Foolish of me, but still it's strange this doesn't have it since it seems to be the main draw of this particular manufacturer. Given Amazon's terrible alogorithms it recommended this as a comparable product. The controller itself is pretty good, it's very light compared to what i would like. May be a plus for some. Feels very much like a classic xbox controller with the size of the buttons, so likely good for accessibility reasons.

Fantastic Controller for Price.
Love it. Looks great, works great and looks even better in person. As a Zelda fan I very much approve.

Work perfectly, happy with my purchase.
Works so well I havn't use any other controller since then. I get the idea to switch faceplate but I didn't try it yet and so far, I didn't saw any specifically faceplate made for this so... I guess it doesn't matter if the faceplate can be taken off easyly or no. So far it holds well and feels like a good controller. Works well, responsive, pretty, light. My only con is the turbo button, it can get confusing at first. I don't use it much so it doesn't bother me at all. For a third party controller that works well and is pretty, a good five stars to it.
