The glass bottle is solid and beautiful glass. The top opening is wide enough to clean easily and fill with fruit or ice. The spigot is metal (not metal painted plastic) and has a firm seal. The stand and lid are both porcelain feeling. Easy to use, easy to clean, and looks more expensive than it is! Put it together and you have a very classy quality drink dispenser.The first dispenser I ordered had a slight flaw where the glass that the spigot attaches to was thinner than the rest of the glass. The second time using it, one of our guests turned the handle a little harder than needed and broke the glass around the spigot. I contacted the company and they quickly and easily sent me a replacement. The new one has much thicker glass around the spigot and I’m assuming the first one was an anomaly. Definitely worth replacing yours if you have the same issue. I’m not decreasing the overall stars because I’m quite sure that few people will have the same issue and the replacement went so smoothly that it wasn’t really an issue at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars This is an awesome dispenser *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2018* The glass is thick and the ceramic adds such a nice touch. I love the pedestal because you can have the dispenser in the middle of the surface it is on (away from danger of falling and breaking) and still be able to fill standard size glasses. The spigot is metal with a ceramic handle and dispenses quickly, rather than a slow drip. I have wanted one of these dispensers for awhile, but always found ones with cheap plastic spigots or very thin glass that seemed like it would break easily. This dispenser looks expensive without the expensive price tag. It also arrived much quicker than the 2 week lead time originally stated when I ordered it. It was everything I wanted. Much to my dismay the stand for the dispenser had a tiny chip along the edge. Big enough to be disappointing and annoying but just small enough that I don’t want to hassle with a return. Especially since I need it for a family event this week. I’ll just have to hide the chip at the back but everything else about it was great. I love that it has a metal spigot and the lid has a rubber seal on it. The glass feels heavy and of good quality.
