Had to fix that myself to get it to seat. Then I find the Crankshaft positioning tool was not drilled/machined to fit the dowel in the engine block. Also had to fix that. The only thing that worked without fixing was the phaser sprocket holder and that was not an exact fit but worked. Also, the Valve Spring Compressor portion kept bending and I had to straighten multiple times to finish job and that was just hand tightening like you are supposed to do. Better to put your money towards the OTC tools or see if you can rent them locally. I was very disappointed in the quality of this set, but you get what you pay for. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Poor Quality of Compression Tool *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2020* I purchased this as a kit that had all special tools for the ford 5.4L 3 valve engine. Four of the tools worked as described. However, the valve spring compression tool has two problems,....1.) the thumb wheel on the head will not grab the threads of "Y Foot" shaft in order to compress the valve spring. I was forced to grind the ball of the "Y Foot" head down before the thumb wheel would engage the threads and be useful (see Pic 1)...... 2.) the "Y valve spring foot" is very thin and is not well braced (see Pic 2). The valve spring foot snapped after using it 6 times. I had to order a better replacement valve compression tool, which delayed finishing the timing chain jobIf I was not in the end stage of the 5.4L timing chain rebuild This kit would have been on it's was back to Amazon and ENRand (seller). I cannot recommend this kit because of the poor quality of to compression tool. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The tools worked as intended for a one time job. *by P***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2020* I ordered this kit to perform a timing set replacement on a 5.4 3v. The tools worked as designed. The only issue I had was with the valve spring compressor. The metal is fairly weak and the tool bends easily, requiring numerous trips to my bench vice to straighten it back out.
