Its not a miracle cure as he's not suddenly back to being a puppy, but he's definitely moving and getting up and down a bit easier. We also bought him an Ellie-Bo Memory Foam Orthopedic Dog Bed in the Lightning Deals which has given him a bit of luxury and he seems much comfier lying on. We'll definitely be buying more of these when this bottle runs out. Is the w/MSM worth the more expensive cost? Both seem to have great reviews.** A: yes if you have large dogs like I do. Dasuguin and Cosequin DS are made by NUTRAMAX. Both have same supplements but Dasuquin has a greater amount. Shop around because cost is different or find discounts at differentoutlets. Shop Amazon or check out all the different places that sell pet supplies. PS my vet said DAUQUIN WAS FORMULATED BEST FOR DOGS. My dogs are 88lbs to 120lbs. I use soft chews. **Q: is it safe to continue on 2 tablets a day even after the initial 6 weeks? and if so, can this be for ever?-my 6 year old collie started limping again** A: After the initial 6 weeks I went down to one tablet, but my vet said to continue giving two tablets a day because of her size. I have a Newfoundland who is approximately 110 pounds. **Q: Has anyone compared Dasquin with cosequin? Which one is better?** A: My dog had severe hip dysplasia and had to have FHO surgery on both hips. His orthopedic surgeon has him on Dasquin for his other joints. He said Dasqyin Advanced is the best (I've only seen it available through the vet's office, and it's new) but if Dasquin gets too expensive that I can use Cosequin but he said Dasquin works better. Make sure you get Dasquin MSM, not plain Dasquin. It is by far better. **Q: Nutramaxlab website says Dasuquin is only available thru vets. Told me via email to only get it thru vet. I started giving her Nutramax twice a day for five weeks. She now gets one a day. I have noticed a difference. Her hips don't seem to be bothering her to the extent they were while out on our walks.
