Pretty good bang for your buck
This is a pretty good speaker for the money, but there are DEFINITELY some learning curves. 1. There are TWO microphones: ONE IS ON THE BACK OF THE SPEAKER. The other is on the remote control. 2. To record a repeating message, USE THE MIC ON THE BACK OF THE SPEAKER. 3. You are better served not to use the live broadcast mode. The remote control mic is VERY VERY sensitive. It picks up casual conversations incredibly well even when holding it at my side. Even after covering the mic with electrical tape, it is still very sensitive. You may want to take the remote apart a bit and fill it with some sort of acoustic material to dampen it, or find a way to reduce the gain. It is almost impossible to understand live speech being broadcast, but the looped audio works well. 4. When using the looping messages, the speaker automatically lowers the volume EVERY TIME. You must increase the volume with the remote. It takes about 2 seconds for the speaker to process a single volume click. So you must click, wait, click, wait, click wait.
