It works and feels good quality. I haven't measured the speed but just copied over some photos and videos, which was fast, so it's probably what it claims. I also tested it for connecting my portable USB C external screen, which has a tendency not to work with every cable/connector, and these work fine, so I'm happy.

Having recently acquired a replacement laptop I now find I also have a need for USB-A to C adaptors to accommodate the newer laptop model's architecture. Hats off to the supplier for delivering them within 24 hours, in spite of a potential 3 day wait according to the order confirmation. The adaptors look sleek in design, and feel robust. The USB-A plugs fit snugly into the adaptor ports and the C plugs are also a tight fit into the laptop. The colour also pretty much matches the space grey of the laptop, which is a bonus. I'm looking forward to using them, and hopefully they will have longevity in use. I do, however, have one slight issue with these adaptors. The big selling point stated in the product description is that they can be mounted side-by-side on a MacBook Pro, which they certainly can. It looks great, but this is also potentially a source of frustration because that design also leaves the USB-A ports flush up against one another. If, like me, you need to have two USB sticks connected simultaneously in order to complete your work, and if the casings of those USB sticks, like mine, are larger than the USB-A plug bodies, then you can't have both of them plugged in at once on the same side of the MacBook. No other reviewer seems to have pointed out this potential issue, so I am doing it just because I feel it should be brought up. I am only able to connect the two USB sticks on opposite sides of the laptop so that both can fit at the same time. It's not a deal-breaker, it just is what it is, and something I hadn't anticipated when reading the product description. Overall I am very pleased with these adaptors. They arrived very quickly, they look great and they are fit for the purposes for which I bought them. I would absolutely recommend them, with the caveat I mentioned earlier.

Probably the best USB adapters I have ever had, longest lasting, sure grip on contacts, no problems, fit cellphone mini C ports with a positive grip.
