DrMyc Adaptive Liquid Culture

This stuff works. Instead of the normal 4% rate most people recommend, DrMyc suggests a lower rate closer to 1%, despite that the liquid culture comes out thick and colonizes fast. This is extremely clear too, so you see growth or potential contamination fast!

I compared this premix to my traditional recipe of karo/ peptone/ LME. I used my isolate masters from slants and the expansion is actually a bit faster than my recipe performs. Zero contamination with this product and as long as you add it to hot water, it dissolves completely and isn't cloudy. If any LC does turn cloudy, it's bacterial contamination and you should probably go back to the basics of proper sterilization and maintaining a clean environment your doing your work in. I would certainly recommend this product for novice hobbiest and seasoned myconauts. A stir plate is recommend but not required. It definitely helps to break up the mycelium so you don't clog your needle and also mainly helps to increase the expansion speed of the mycelium. Stir every 3 days.

When used with distilled water this LC mixture is amazing, super fast results and healthy mycelium growth! Only need a little to make each jar, well worth the purchase!

This brand makes some great stuff. Stopped making my own since this takes all the work and trial out of what's best. It just works.

So much easier to buy a premade solution like this that is high quality for making your LC. You end up saving money in the long run but especially end up with a higher quality product IMO. No more buying different product and mixing them yourself. Easy to use, follow the directions and know you have everything you need to make top shelf LC. I prefer to spend my time tending to my grows rather then mixing crap up. So happy with this brand, will be using DrMyco for my needs. Great product and supporting a small business, what more could one want?

This is the clearest liquid culture I've ever seen!!!! Ok, so I'm a nerd with mycology, and I like things to be clean... this product provides the clearest liquid cultures I've seen. No sediment left over either, just clear liquid waiting to be innoculated!!! Furthermore, the package says you can use 5-10 grams per 500 ml of water (use distilled).. so I didn't know which direction to take it. Reached out to the company via their website and had a response on a Sunday, Superbowl Sunday, within about 15 min... AMAZING customer service. John explained the lesser amount best for immediate use, and a bit more for storage.. make sense. Thanks John!!!!

It came as a solid brick, not as a powder. I cant even break chunks off it so its useless. If heat causes this then it needs to be in a climate controlled environment and its not getting that. If moisture causes it then theyre not properly sealing their products

After trying the Magical Gypsum and seeing its results on a side by side grow I’m definitely sold on all of his products. The results are undeniable. They colonize faster and fuller and eat through the substrate and throw amazing fruits. Customer for life.
