Loev this screen the ultimate for temp display.
The Phanteks 5.5” Hi-Res Universal LCD Display is truly the ultimate screen for displaying computer stats and adding a personalized touch to your PC build. It strikes a fantastic balance between functionality and aesthetics, making it a must-have for enthusiasts and gamers alike. What immediately stands out is its hi-res 2160x1440 IPS display. For a screen of this size (5.5 inches), that resolution delivers incredibly sharp and detailed visuals, far exceeding what you'd typically expect from a compact accessory display. This means your computer stats, custom animations, or even small video clips will look crisp and vibrant. The 60Hz refresh rate ensures smooth real-time updates for your system information, while the 450 nit brightness and 99% sRGB color gamut guarantee that content is vivid and clear, even when positioned alongside bright RGB components. One of the most impressive aspects of this display is its versatile mounting options. The magnetic mounting is a game-changer, allowing for effortless placement on any steel surface within your case, like a PSU shroud or a vertical GPU bracket. This offers a clean, cable-minimized look. Beyond magnets, it also includes legs for external desk placement, allowing for a slight angle or a straight stand, and can even be mounted to a 120mm fan bracket. This flexibility means you can integrate it seamlessly into almost any build or use it as a compact external monitor. Connectivity is straightforward and plug-and-play, with an HDMI and SATA power cable included. This means your PC recognizes it as a standard secondary monitor, opening up a world of possibilities for what you can display. Whether you're using software like Aida64, Rainmeter, or Wallpaper Engine for custom sensor panels and animated backgrounds, this display handles it all with ease. In essence, the Phanteks 5.5” Hi-Res Universal LCD Display is more than just a novelty; it's a premium, high-quality component that enhances both the visual appeal and the practical monitoring capabilities of your PC. It's an excellent investment for anyone looking to truly customize and optimize their system's display.

Best :"OOTB Experience" Sensor Panel
Prior to the Phanteks Hi-Res display I had an Ingcool 7" LCD (also from Amazon) so most of my experience is in comparison to that OEM style display. Right off the bat I will say there are 3 major selling points of the Phanteks display compared to other cheaper brands - (1) display quality, (2) mounting versatility, and (3) the white color to match your all white PC, lol. The display quality on this Phanteks is actually really impressive. It has like 99% color accuracy and the resolution is 2560 x 1440 (not 2160 as the product page lists). The quality of the display is waaay better than the Ingcool I had previously. Second (and in my opinion one of the biggest selling points), is the mounting versatility. With the Ingcool display it was a major PITA figuring out how to gerry-rig it to my case without using double-sided tape or some other permanent solution. The Phanteks display on the other hand is MAGNETIC, so you can literally stick it to any metal surface on your case. I stuck it to the metal mesh panel where the rear case fan typically sits and the magnetic force was strong enough that it didn't budge even with the HDMI and power cable connected. This feature was a game-changer for me and made the install super clean almost like it was a part of the case itself. Lastly, I have an all-white build and there are NO other sensor panel displays that I could find that had a white bezel. Huge props to Phanteks for offering this up in something other than black. As to the downsides - the size of the display IMO is adequate as a sensor panel but I would have liked to see at least a 6" display. The problem is the bezels are way too big, they could thin the bezels signifcantly and make this at least a 6"-7" display. If Phanteks is reading this, I would gladly by this again if offered in a larger size, please make it happen. Overall though I highly recommend this display if you want a "finished" product that's ready to go OOTB without any gerry-rig solutions to get it to work as intended.

THE GOAT LCD!!!
Okay lowkey this I a slept upon lcd. I always see everyone hyping up lian li and other lcd displays that are not this out of the box user friendly. I love that it has a dedicated sata power supply cable, the issue I ran into with a lot of other displays on Amazon is that they require power from a wall outlet to function which isn’t ideal. Or that the power connection in those that connected via usb/usb-c was not always steady. The back side of the display has 4 cable channels, one on each side, so you can run the HDMI and sata cables in whichever direction makes sense for you. I love that the cables plug into a recessed cavity on the displays backside, rather than plugging in to the side. Other displays I tried required you to buy 90 degree cables to make them look clean since the hdmi and usb c inputs are on the edges usually. I also love that there’s multiple ways to mount this display…like honestly endless possibilities. The display is magnetic, but also has options to mount to fan holes and all that. This was just literally designed as an internal pc display and that definitely shows in the thoughtfulness of its features. For me the screen is perfect size for what I need it for. I use it for AIDA64. It gets up to 120hz I believe? And is so much thinner than all the other small lcd displays I’ve tried. It doesn’t feel cheap and is heavy but not TOO heavy like some of the bulkier competitors displays out there. For the price, it’s a great purchase if you want something that works out of the box without any extra cables or anything like that. I will keep hyping this display up to everyone I know who is looking for one and will definitely be using them in future pc builds.

Another Phanteks quality product
Another Phanteks quality product. Added as an interior PC case monitor to track weather, PC performance, and misc notifications. Saves desktop space on two main PC monitors. Took less than 15 minutes to install and configure. Not an absolute necessary purchase, but some nice bling to highlight your build.

So much for that idea
Had for maybe 2 weeks and the display started going nuts. The screen will randomly show distorted colors or just go to a solid color and stay there. Tried diff cables and ports on my gpu, but no luck. Ended up returning.

This thing is cool
The size of the monitor could be a little larger, it works and functions very well. The picture quality is superb. If you have had dealings with AIDA64 or have an onboard front HDMI sensor panel header (like many of the new Gigabyte motherboards) setup is easy. adjustment can be very simple as it comes with feet that allow you to set it on a flat surface in the case or on your desk. Those same feet have magnets so you can put on the side of your case, or because the whole case I’d magnetized, you can stick it to any metal surface in or on your PC/keyboard/desk.

Looks great
Great display quality. The magnetic backside came in handy since I decided to display the screen on the outside of the case. No drilling needed, it just sticks on the side panel. My only critique is the product’s housing feels cheap, like mostly-hollow plastic. It doesn’t matter much when it’s all mounted, but it just didn’t feel nice to hold in my hands.
