Great, affordable fitness equipment
I have had the pink stepper from Sunny for a couple of years, and have put hundreds of miles on it; I upgraded to this one with handles today. It works great! It’s quiet, and works just as great as my old one. The handles are for mild steadiness, about as much as if you were holding the back of a chair. It’s really easy to put together. While it is not Bluetooth like the upgrade version, I can use my Apple fitness app and manually start a stepper workout on my watch. I have health issues so I use it 15 minutes as a time.

Excellent exercise option
Solid piece of equipment, not too complicated to put together. Doesn't take up much space, easy to just get on and begin exercising/ walking. There is different tension options you can set for how hard or easy you want your steps to be. It was an excellent price and worth it. It's a stand up stationary machine, so once put together it doesn't fold up, it isn't obscene looking so doesn't look bad being set up. It's sturdy. I am glad I chose this machine, very happy with it and would recommend.

For low cost entry level machine, very good but don't use for long periods
Based on reviews from several sites, I chose this stair stepper because I wanted the most low-cost, basic, simple, entry-level machine. After a few days, I'd say it fits the bill. While it doesn't have adjustable tension per se, the adjustment of the stair height acts in that capacity. It seems sturdy, although when you are NOT standing on it, be careful to not let it fall forward. The lateral motion is easy to get used to. Not sure if there is a scientific reason for it, but it feels reasonably natural. The counter does what you would expect: time, steps, calories. I'm overall satisfied but there is a CAVEAT that you won't learn about until you purchase the machine. It's not in the description, and it's not in the reviews at other sites: per the instructions, it can only be used for 15 minutes at a time, with a 30 minute rest period between uses. This is so the hydraulics don't burn out. Admittedly, there's no way I could go for longer than 15 minutes right now, but it's a bit cheesy that this issues isn't prominently mentioned. There are two of us, and we had hoped to use the machine sequentially, but now person #2 has to wait 30 minutes before it can be used again. So, this lowers the functionality score to 4 stars. On the surprisingly plus side is the assembly. Being made in China, this product was likely to come with the usual gibberish English that makes no sense. But no! The instructions are actually clear and easy to follow, with good labelling and all the parts necessary (also labelled). The company gets 5 stars for clarity. I will update this review after the machine has been in use to comment on durability and long-term performance.

Excellent machine for those with osteoporosis
I bought this machine to help build my bone density and strengthen my spine. I am 51 yrs old. I have severe osteoporosis in my L-spine , femoral neck and a 61 degree curve in my spine from scoliosis. I am unable to use weights so my doctor recommended a stepper so that I can use my own body weight for resistance training. I hop on this machine 3 times a day for 5 minutes at a time. It’s sturdy, compact and easy to use. I already feel core strength, tone in my legs, more flexibility, less stiffness and pain in my hips and improved posture. Not to mention it boosts my mood. Praying it helps build bone density but won’t know this until a follow up Dexa scan next year. I live in Alaska and the cold winters make it impossible for me to get out and walk so this machine has been a God send. I highly recommend this machine for those diagnosed with osteoporosis and scoliosis . Best wishes to good health

Great Product!
As a soon to be 75 year old very lazy bones (many years) retired lady, I found the strength, especially in my legs, slowly deteriorating. Trust me, not a medical condition but inactivity! Time was up. Ms. Couch Potato here needed something I could use on and off on a daily basis and at home. Even if only for a couple of minutes here and there throughout the day. I was not interested in apps or counters or device holders or breaking any records so I did not even hook those up. I just wanted to move and get stronger and not break the bank and this was it! I just received it today and was very impressed with its' weight, stability and quality. Very clear directions, diagrams, (excellent manual!) and the FEW parts needed come in a blister pack all very clearly marked. NOW, the only problem I ran into was, there are 5 bolts you screw in to attach the main pole to the frame. The two SIDE ones seemed off? I think the KEY is to align the screws with the holes all at one time and gently rock (adjust) the pole back and forth a bit as you tighten the screws each a little at a time until done. Also, I do wish you could adjust the tension even MORE so, even lower, on the stepper. It is a bit tight for a beginner like me. Oh, and I should mention, nice LARGE foot pedals!! Anyway, so glad I found this!

Its Ok
I'm disappointed. Putting together was easy but the bolts that go into main post 3 bolts when screwed in all the way keep spinning so they aren't tight. I'm alittle concerned about that and doesn't feel safe since my wife with chemo induced neurophaphy will be using to help her keep leg muscles and blood supply healthy. I pitbup against wall because she doesnt have good balance and it's not sturdy. As far as the tension goes there's a metal cord in plastic around a pulley and there's a knob with no marking on it that you turn to raise pedals or lower. I had to put no tension and it's pretty hard to step down and I'm not in bad shape. It does tip forward when not on it. I will keep because honestly I don't wanna deal with returning it. I may buy a bolt lock liquid for the bolts that don't tighten. I mean it will do the job , it's not heavy and takes up hardly any space. I will just have to monitor my wife when she uses it so she doesn't fall. I mean it is not much money but for even 90 bucks you want a safe product. It does make noise when using it and I'm not sure it's supposed to. When holding the handles it is a bit wobbly on the main m pole. It is what it is I guess. Update I have ordered another brand that's much sturdier and safer for my wife.

Very pleased with quality and functionality.
I am very pleased with this Stepper. It is not expensive or hard to assemble. I put it together in less than 30 minutes. Sturdy enough for my size and weight. Makes getting my daily walk in no matter the weather or time of day.

Works well, good value. Good daily exercise product.
Well made product, easy to set up, takes up very little space. Height adjustable. The level of push required is not adjustable, it's not made for rapid rotation leg exercise, but it's good for steady, smooth low impact movements. You can take long or short strokes depending on how quickly you want to go between steps. The twist step motion is a nice feature. Overall a good value and should last a long time.
