Had no issues with alignment of the wheel reported by others. Thought the abrasive seems to erode faster than I expected, considering that so far I have only been using very modest pressure. Although I have had nothing to compare it to.So far have only sharpened knives and wood chisels, been quite happy with the results when finished off with an old impregnated leather strop. Why pay more for less features you will use. Ie variable and forward and reverse.
