This is a nice replacement kit and was straightforward to install, even for a DIY novice. The gasket is actually better quality than the original one, which was a nice surprise.That said, you may need slightly larger screws depending on your setup, so it’s worth checking before you start. It didn’t end up fixing our specific issue, but the parts themselves are solid and worked as expected. Good quality and a great value for a replacement kit.

Needed a pilot assembly for my Richmond Water heater for a mobile home. Installed this after taking the old one off.It's been a couple weeks but it fit perfectly, working just fine and happy that I bought this and waited a couple days vs pay $140 at a local appliance place and wait the same amount of time!

Just clean off any old gasket off the furnace and install, very easy to install.

Fixed my issue with pilot light going off. I have a Rheem water heater and original part number is AP14317P. This worked for me although not original, quality seems okay. Gasket quality is very good also. Hopefully it lasts.

Ordered April 13th. It’s now July 4th and I have no hot water. Can not get pilot light to reignite. I would look elsewhere.

The pilot light on my 18 year old GE wouldn't light after I replaced the anode rod and flushed the tank. There was a spark, but after about a thousand strikes of the igniter, no blue flame. I should've given up on it, right? 18 years is a good run.That ain't me. Not just yet. Fighting!I pulled out the burner assembly, wrapped my lips around the pilot supply tube, and felt a tiny bit of air on the other end. But that's not the direction the gas flows. I tried it the right way and got nothing.I was hoping for a hot shower, so I cruised the nearest blue box. Uncharacteristically, Lowe's didn't have a replacement. I reluctantly hit the orange box, and I was kinda relieved that they didn't have it either. OK, Amazon, it's your time to shine!Ordered the part, got it ~16 hours later, and had hot water about an hour after that. I'm glad I didn't give up. Thanks to Amazon, I didn't have to.

If you have any mechanical ability, this is an easy install. Did have to disassemble and readjust the spart ignighter. It came from the factory to far away from the pilot light and could not jump the distance to ignight. Otherwise, works just fine.
